Hello, Welcome to my iWantGreatCare page. I am an Anaesthetic Consultant with special interest in Paediatric Anaesthesia and I am very keen to improve the care I deliver on an individual patient basis. Your feedback is very important in order to enable me to improve the service I deliver. Thank you for taking the time to fill in a review. Kind regards Chris
My 9 year old daughter had an operation this week, the last time she had an operation she woke up really quickly and became really upset and scared I wasn’t there. I spoke to Dr Marshall about this, so he made sure everyone was aware of this, and I got up to recovery just as she was coming round. Thank you
Dr Marshall was fantastic ! I warmed to him straight away as he put me at ease, answering all of my questions . He never once made feel like I was a nuisance and did not rush my consultation. He had a brilliant sense of humour and I felt I was in very safe hands . I’m pleased to have this opportunity to provide feedback as I did intend to write to the hospital anyway . If he needs a secretary I’d be happy to apply ! Haha
Very good bed side manner - we discussed the benefits of not stating pain levels pre-injection and his anecdote about his latest seminar made me feel comfortable that he was continuously working on his practice.
As someone that is very nervous about hospitals and procedures Chris and his team were exceptional at making me feel relaxed and providing solutions to make my experience more comfortable.
Dr Marshall was super lovely, I couldn't recommend him enough. His colleague, who went through all the pre-op details with me was also very sweet (sorry don't know his name!) and both put me at ease, chatting and joking whilst I was being put under. I felt in very safe hands and commented to family after my op how great he and all the team were. I also bruise horrifically whenever I have a cannula inserted/blood test - this time all I had was a teeny pin prick An amazing Dr, just how they should be - thank you for looking after me :)
