Dr Amy is just amazing. My Son Timmy was diagnosed with Leukaemia in February 2015 and Dr Amy has been with us supporting us from day 1. Always making time for us, relieving our concerns, being patient with us when times are tough and always giving us as long as we need to discuss our concerns. It is quite obvious Dr Amy cares passionately about her patients and families and goes above and beyond to support us in every aspect including difficulties at school and with other external agencies. Nothing is ever to much trouble for Dr Amy she truly is a saint who has held our hand and guided us through treatment.......and we feel confident now heading out of treatment knowing Dr Amy is still there for us. An amazing Doctor.

Amy is the Oncology Consultant for my son Aiden who was diagnosed with Leukaemia in September 2016. Amy is very friendly and engaging. She really wants to know how we all are and not just how our son Aiden is doing. It reassures us that we can visit and our concerns are taken seriously and if we have any suspicions that he may be ill because something seems a little off or if we have questions they are dealt with straight away. She does a great job and having Aiden under Amy's care has been a blessing.

Dr Amy is wonderful. She listens, is knowledgeable and is totally approachable - all you could ask for in a consultant. Thank you so much for taking such great care of Jack, both whilst he was on treatment and now during his post-treatment check-ups. Frances.

Amy Mitchell was a wonderful , obviously caring doctor . She listened not only to me as a mum but also my daughter Emma . We both felt at complete ease with her . Total confidence in her advice .

At each appointment Dr. Amy has listened to our concerns, and guided us through this horrible experience; clearly explaining the hows and why of tests and there results. Dr Amy makes sure we know what the next steps are and rough time frames before we leave. Dr Amy is easy to talk with and has a very caring and approachable manner. She takes the time to listen to our daughter and make our daughter feel comfortable and at ease in the hospital environment.
