My only regret is that I didn't find DSM earlier. She is truly gifted. Not only I got the latest cancer gold standard treatment, she treated me as a whole. When I first met DSM I was lost and frightened, now I am empowered and I can dream again. Getting a cancer diagnosis is the scariest thing I have ever experienced and its critical that you find the best available medical team to support you both in getting the correct cancer treatment for you but also support you as a whole, see you as a person and not as another client. Dr Shiroma is intelligent, extremely well informed in the latest available treatments, listens carefully and answers all your questions very clearly and in a way that you fully understand. When I talk to her I don't feel as a cancer patient with no options, but as a woman with many options, fully explained to me and in control to make my decisions. As scary as a diagnosis is, my advice is to not rush to find a medical team due to fear, take some time to find the best available care. If you find yourself with a breast cancer diagnosis, book an appointment with DSM. She is amazing and I literally trust her with my life. She is also supported by a wonderful team and I am truly grateful to Joyce who has been incredibly responsive throughout our engagements. THANK YOU.

I have been a patient of Dr De Silva’s for about 2 1/2 years. I feel in very safe hands. My case is rather complicated and Dr Di Silva always makes me feel that she is on the case and has my best interests at heart. She often goes above and beyond with the amount of time she gives me and the reassurance and honesty is very helpful to me.
