My initial consultation was helpful, informative and encouraging, whilst remaining realistic. I particularly liked the way she kept summarising what we had been through.

Our consultation was by telephone owing to Covid-19 but Dr Birtle's communication skills ensured that everything was dealt with just as well as if we had met. She impressed with her clarity of explanation, empathy and desire to obtain the best possible outcome for me as the patient. It was a most professional consultation which gave my wife and I total confidence in the treatment plan which she will now devise.

I, together with my wife, had a video consultation with Dr. Birtle on the 1st May 2020, regarding my recent diagnosis of prostrate cancer, The consultation lasted 40 minutes and although we both had been feeling a little daunted that it would be a video call, a new experience!, we found Dr. Birtle to be lovely. She was very warm, approachable and made us both feel at ease. There was a lot of information to digest but Dr. Birtle was clear and concise in explaining any future treatments and the side effects that may occur. It was a pleasure to talk to her. My first consultation today which was excellent. Very patiently listened to me and answered my concerns. Showed an interest in my general health and gave clear detailed information. Appeared compassionate and very reassuring.
