Mr Alan Askari was kind, considerate and explained everything clearly about my condition both prior to my operation and after it. His attitude made me feel relaxed and that I was having good care. Thank you

Breast Clinic Ipswich Hospital Iwent to see Doctor Askari as there was concern I may have a problem with my Breast. He made me feel very at ease. Asked me questions regarding my referral and problem and said he needed to take a look if that was ok. He proceeded to do so and assured me there was no lump or problem other than probably something called Costochondritis which is inflammation between the ribs and muscle under the Breast. He sent me for a Scan anyway just to be sure. On return from the Scan he asked us through for the results. He told us that everything was fine and clear much to our relief. He gave me a leaflet on Costichondritis to settle our minds on that. Overall he was great. Very nice, kind and good at his job.

Mr Askari made me feel at ease and listened to my concerns. He was reassuring and at the same time did not make me feel I had wasted his time. He gave good advice as to what to do next. He was very professional in his manner and did not give anything away in his facial expressions or body language which in the circumstances of the clinic was by far the best way to behave for the other patients. I was a lucky one.

Attended Mr Ali Malik's Colorectal Clinic and as I had had distressing symptoms for around 4-weeks and I was very nervous about what my diagnosis would be - right from the start attending I saw Mr Malik and after tests and questions about my symptoms reassured me that I had nothing serious wrong must say I was treated with kindness and respect by Mr Malik and the nurse in attendance and came away reassured I will eventually return to good health - wonderful treatment so gentle and kind.
