Dr. Makki is humane, considerate, realistic and forthcoming. He successfully allayed my concerns and extinguished my skepticism towards treatment in our very first meeting. He was attentive to my preferences and offered multiple routes towards resolution, taking the time to explain (Even draw out) suggested intervention, and then took me through post-intervention expected & realistic outcomes, therapies and long-term care. His team tried to swiftly arrange treatment based on my request, and the procedure went very much per his stated plan. My recovery and post-operative visits have been informative & rewarding, further building confidence in Dr. Makki's initial prognosis and course of treatment. I recently had the privilege of being treated by Dr. Daoud Makki for a broken wrist with numerous fractures, and I couldn't be more pleased with the entire experience. Mr Makki has operated on me twice in the last 18 months and he has been excellent in both cases. Nothing is to much trouble and he explains everything so you understand what is going to happen. He never seems rushed when talking to you, which is reassuring. He has been very professional and friendly throughout. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

I was referred to Dr Makki by my physiotherapist in relation to the rotator cuff in my left shoulder. I'd been doing physio exercises and it was getting worse. Dr Makki explained the possible treatments and I opted for surgery. Dr Makki explained the procedure and the possible outcomes. The operation took place at the London Bridge Hospital (not on your options below) and Dr Makki explained exactly what he'd done and whet I needed to do in recovery.. I attended physiotherapy for a number of months, with regular progress meetings with Dr Makki. I was very interested in the problem and progress and any questions I asked were answered in great detail, which I appreciated. Dr Makki was very encouraging and positive on my recovery progress and I felt very comfortable with how things went.
