Hannah was very responsive and helpful. Very quick to reply to any questions or help me with any adjustments needed. She was so easy to work with, it was a great experience.

I have just finished titration for ADHD medication with Hannah Woodmansey, who was assigned to me by Psychaitry-UK. The titration is done exclusively by messages over the P-UK online portal. Before I started the titration, Hannah messaged me to introduce herself & to reconfirm some baseline stats & the medication I had been advised to try by the psychiatrist. She gave me the option to trial either generic or brand medication with some information on both medications & estimate prices. (I am privately paying patient). I personally found the charges by P-UK very reasonable and fair. I paid fees as required for ongoing titration reviews and a small fee for each prescription script. Hannah was always very quick to issue my prescription via post which would arrive within a few days. Then I could collect medication from a local pharmacy (which I also paid for). On occasions Hannah also made recommendations that actually saved me costs (such as prescribing in lower doses so that medication could be doubled to trial higher doses as titration progressed, but then having the lower dose to revert back to if it didn’t work, without needing a new script at additional cost). My titration was very straightforward as I responded to the first medication trialled. Even so, It took several months to get to the correct dosage. I had weekly contact with Hannah via the portal to update her on my stats and some questions around symptoms and side effects. Hannah was very responsive throughout my titration and I never had to wait longer than half a day for a reply on the Portal which was brilliant. Hannah went on hol one week so I got a reply from a colleague instead, again within half a day. Hannah would provide guidance on any dosage adjustments and make recommendations to manage side effects etc. I always felt reassured & listened to and had no concerns that the process was not being appropriately managed. Thank you Hannah for helping me to get my life back on track after years of severe struggles. My only feedback for the process is the long and constantly changing wait time to titration, which is for P-UK to resolve & not a reflection on the high quality service nurses like Hannah provide. For people who need a higher level of support/ more personalised service, I would also consider using a different service as contact is completed exclusively by messaging on the portal. Fine for me but may not be the level of support that others need.

Throughout the titration process for my ADHD treatment, I felt that Hannah paid close attention to my response to the medication and to what I was saying. I felt that she worked closely with me to find a treatment that balanced benefits and side effects. I found her easy to talk with about my concerns and to ask questions.

Hannah was very calm and informative. It was very clear that she had a very good understanding of ADHD and the medication. She was very responsive and replied in a timely manner to everything I asked of her. I have a tendency to overreact sometimes, her approach was very reassuring without being patronising and was never dismissive of my concerns. I couldn't have wished for a better experience, and am little sad it's finished!
