My 8 year old child had burnt his hand which had a bandage on. Previous appointments where bandage replacement etc.. where done at other medical centres. However today we arrived just after 12 and since just waiting. Having to leave behind my 4 year old disabled child at home with someone else caring him. Utterly disappointed with the service.

I visited Woking Walk-In centre 3 times over Christmas and New Year - and still didn't get to see a doctor. Each time, they stopped taking new patients more than 3 hours before the normal close time due to slowly working through their patient backlog. I don't suppose that's all their fault, but the receptionists ignored people queue jumping, and their triage seems ineffective, impersonal, disrespectful, and blunt to the point of being rude. In my 3 times there, they didn't seem to care, and maybe forgot that I went for help in a time of need, and not just to be an inconvenience to them. On the plus side, it was clean and quiet!

Waiting times worse than major hospitals, for minor injuries, unacceptable and if they run out, you are asked to come back next day where instead of being rolled over so that you are seen first, the whole procedure of sitting upto 3 or 4 hours starts again. I came on the advice of 111 after a dog bite, need anti tetanus shot, as I have not had one for years. But not classed as urgent at minor injury unit. Sorry not good enough.

Awful experience. Disinterested, lazy, unenthusiastic nurses. A room full of people, most with a slight air of desperation. Questionable triage by supposedly 'qualified' nurses e.g. Able bodied and unworried looking fit young adult males seen within 15 minutes whilst I saw visibly ill young children and old people sat in excess of three hours. A nurse (one of three) would appear about once every 30 minutes and call someone by name. One nurse sounded politely neutral. Two nurses sounded completely unenthused to the extent of rudeness. No sense of urgency. No sense of respect for public/patients. Nothing but negativity. If this is what the NHS is employing now I understand why wages are going down, not up, in real terms. There was no one in charge. No work ethic. No system - other than the "lip-service" triage. I have never experienced such a woeful service from the NHS and literally had to leave (without being seen after wasting more than three hours because I had an afternoon commitment), politely concealing my disgust. What an utter waste of a Sunday morning. It would have taken less than ten minutes to diagnose and prescribe me an antibiotic.

I’ve unfortunately needed to use this service pretty much everyday for dressing change due to not being able to get appointment with GP nurse after surgery. Bar one day where a receptionist took it upon herself to say I shouldn’t be coming here and she was refusing to book me in, they have been fantastic. Yes there is always a wait due to short staffed, however this is not the fault of the staff on duty!

The wait time was quicker than I was told. Was a 3 hour minimum wait and I was seen in 2. Once seen I went straight to the X-ray clinic. I had a X-ray, there was no wait for it and they were quick and efficient with giving the results. They showed the X-ray image for you to see too.

The long waits are quite ridiculous it used to be an hour last time I waited for 3 hours and today that wait was 4 1/2 hours that's ridiculous, is it always like this?

Just back from taking mum to Woking walk in centre following a fall . Very friendly helpful service despite being very busy from the walk in team and radiology ! Mum needed a wrist X-ray but radiology also kindly performed the chest X-ray which had been requested urgently but couldn’t be booked for over a week . This sensible approach of doing the 2 together saved time and means mum can be reviewed by her GP tomorrow without a trip to A and E for an emergency Chest x ray ! The nurses treated mum with dignity and just the right amount of humour ! Very happy with their knowledge and advice ! Thank you Woking community walk in centre and radiology ! And the cafe lady who made a decent cuppa too !

I visited the walk-in centre for the first time yesterday with a swollen and painful leg wound. It was 0810 and there were already 7 or 8 people in the queue before me. The staff were all very friendly and efficient despite the ever growing number of people coming in. I saw Jackie and she immediately put me at ease, she was very thorough and gentle, sent me for an x-ray of my shin which thankfully came back clear. She cleaned and dressed the wound and gave me antibiotics for the infection in the leg. She was very professional yet friendly and suggested I return in a week's time to make sure progress is being made with the infection. I cannot praise her highly enough - she's doing a brilliant job.

Despite it being busy ( and had been all day) all the staff from Reception to the nurses I saw made time for me as if I were their first and only patient- thanks Anne and Alecia you went the extra mile. Pleased to say that after a bit of treatment, I was on my way feeling much relieved
