I received plenty of information about what to expect and what to consider. There was also information about the background of the veincentre, which helped me to make the decision to have the treatment there. There was the opportunity to ask questions by email and phone, though the information did not match what the consultant told me at the consultation. Staff were very friendly and I was very happy with the premises and how I was received and cared for. Treatment was excellent and I am very happy with the result.

Well start to finish the Cardiff team were extremely professional throughout, from the initial phone call to book 1st consultation, to the after care assessment. On arriving we were greeted by the friendly receptionist, and offered a drink, (on all 3 visits). Mr David Lewis, talked us through pros and cons, in as much or little detail as you wish. very thorough though. My journey started with a very painful varicose vein running down my left leg, (suffered with legs for many years) but as recent as September last year developed a cluster just to the side and below my knee. (Tried GP 1st, no joy) so from phone call, consultation, treatment to aftercare, took no more than 8 weeks (would have been sooner but had a big birthday 1st). Treatment was 6th December which was Endevous laser ablation (EVLA). This i found uncomfortable but bearable. Had one day off work after treatment, went back the following day after that. I would advise if anyone is thinking of having this done to take the advice and use painkillers/anti inflammatory, and keep walking, walking eases the discomfort whilst sitting and standing brings a feeling of a dragging/pulling burn. All said, I would highly recommend this treatment to anyone seeking the relief of pain and discomfort brought on by varicose veins. Went back for my follow up last week, and am happy to say it was 100% success. I am now pain free, feel happier, no more achy heavy legs, its not cheap but worth every penny to be out of all that discomfort. THANK YOU GUYS

I booked a consultation in July where the doctor Previn Diwakar carried out a full examination of the problem areas in my Right leg with Ultra sound he then described what treatment was needed to remove the varicose veins using new laser treatment,my treatment was then all booked in by Caroline for the end of September 2023 On the day of the treatment it was a simple procedure with hardly any pain just a few scratching feelings from the needles which lasted about 30minutes approximately After the treatment I was informed that I would need to ware a stocking for two weeks and take things easy after the two weeks carry on as normal until my follow up appointment at the end of November where a full examination was carried out and I was asked if I had any issues which I explained I had some lumpy areas in my leg which was normal and would clear in 2-3 months which put me at ease knowing that I would be 100% for next summer so with that thank you very much to all the team at the veincentre Cardiff ( and nice coffee

From the beginning I received a warm and friendly welcome from all the staff at the clinic. All info provided was precise and easy to understand. On the day of treatment I was looked after brilliantly. Again on my follow up appointment it was great. Cannot emphasize enough how lovely all the staff are at the Cardiff site. I felt cared for and nothing was too much trouble. Everyone also has a great sense of humor which is amazing when going for any type of treatment for the first time. The results are amazing, quite simply the best money spent. Would not hesitate recommending to others

I am truly amazing by the service received by all at The Vein Centre Cardiff. I was very nervous but immediately felt at ease. The support and reassurance I receive on consultation, treatment and follow was amazing. For being so afraid to step foot into the centre to now feeling amazing with my legs is fantastic. I can’t thank Previn and his nurse enough for how welcoming and supportive they were. I am so blown away with the results and can’t thank everyone enough. Also a special thank you to Caroline for always being so friendly and supportive.

Had Evla treatment which went fine. My concern was there were still visible veins on my calf when I went to the follow up for foam injections. I showed my calf veins to the nurse and doctor said it could take up to 12 months to heal completely. So injections were made into my quad? (Where no visible or troubled veins were) 12 months later I call head office and say the veins on my calf are exactly the same and nothing happened. To then be told sometimes it doesn’t work first time around (because the injections were injected in my quad and not my calf maybe?) and also asked why haven’t you called sooner? It’s been 12 months! thats what the doctors and nurse said that’s how long it can take. To then be told by head office that’s incorrect and that it shouldn’t take 12 months to heal, it should only take 6 weeks. So either the doctors were lying or head office was. So I book in for further foam treatment and this time the foam injections were injected directly into the calf where the visible veins were. Now having this done by a different doctor and the same area I thought it should have been, made me question shouldn’t this have been done first time around and after actually researching myself, the injections should have been treated my calf first time around. I have complained about a refund for the follow up treatment for approximately 2 months back and for phone calls / not contacting me back for weeks/ forgetting about my complaint! I have know received an email stating that no refund will be issued. Thank you vein centre

Thoroughly recommend the Cardiff Clinic . Mr Lewis and his team were approachable and friendly. They made the experience as relaxed as possible . My travel plans dictated timing of treatment and they went above and beyond to fit in my treatment to allow recovery time required. Treatment has been effective . Only regret is that I hadn’t done it years ago !

I was extremely nervous attending my first appointment. The receptionist Caroline made me feel so welcome and at ease, I attended the clinic three times all together, my first consultation and the day after my treatment with Dr Previn Diwakar. The treatment nurse Caz was so lovely and made me feel relaxed. the whole procedure was painless and successful and I was really looking forward to seeing them all again at my follow up consultation. Dr Previn was brilliant explaining the whole process to me and also allowing my husband in with me for the treatment as I was initially nervous. He like all the staff were really professional and friendly. The whole experience was great and if I only knew would have done it years ago.

Great experience from start to finish. I can wholeheartedly recommended the Veincentre in Cardiff to anyone considering this treatment. . The staff are wonderful, the venue is very well presented and ideally located in the centre of Cardiff. Im very happy with the results of my treatment, the only regret is that I didn't have it done sooner.
