I felt supported regarding appointments. When I was unavoidably a little late for an appointment I was reassured that it was okay and that I would not lose the appointment. The standard of cleanliness was impressive and the entrances to the hospital were always manned by friendly staff ensuring that the sanitisers were used on entrance, though there was no invitation to use the sanitisers on leaving the hospital. I think that would be an improvement, condisering that I was going home by taxi, and others would be going elsewhere too and taking with them whatever they got from touching the furniture in the more public areas around the entrances to the hospital. I like that the hospital floors and wall furniture were always clean and that the floors were NOT highly polished. If they had been it would pose a risk to patients like myself who are amputees. I am a lower limb amputee and was on crutches, so it was vital that I felt safe walking down those corridors! Good that the toilets have been made accessible and I was able to use one a few times. The staff at all levels were helpful, respectful and friendly and knew what they were doing and who I was. Overall I am very happy with my experience of UCLH.I have been seen/treated at two different buildings at this hospital and it is clear to me that they provide the best possible care at every level.
The UCLH is a truly amazing hospital. All the staff from the most senior clinicians down to the cleaners are amazing. All so professional and caring. I would like to thank all the staff on the transport team. I was so grateful to have the transport; it was truly
amazing. All the staff are a credit to the hospital.
great care and respect given to patients.
Princess grace hospital
Ward T13 North. Rm 15.
My mum has been an inpatient on this ward for 3 1/2 weeks. Whilst on the ward she received the most exemplary care. She was looked after with dignity, respect and humour. It was a very worrying and stressful time for all, and your amazing staff, mostly nurses, but everyone we came in contact with was kind, cheerful and so so helpful. You made a real effort to help us out when mum was scared, Ill and gave us comfort and reassurance. Thanks particularly to Helen (Physio), Antonia, Jason and Amanda (nurses). THANKYOU ALL!
It was such a scary place when I first arrived 6 weeks ago, and its become something of a 2nd home.
Apart from a couple small hiccups, my appointments ran on time, all the staff were AMAZING, they made me and my guests feel so welcome and reassured.
You are all angels for the work you do!
I always find the staff at the hospital very helpful.
However on occasion the toilets are not clean and need attention.
The attitude and professionalism of the staff is exemplary, despite them being very busy. The randomness of the treatment times is a problem for someone like me with a long journey in. Set times throughout the treatment would be easier.
Excellent tertiary hospital.
University College Hospital is the hospital i will always choose ,and it has good location and great doctor
