My Family and I have attended this surgery for some thirty years and I can honestly state that the appointment procedure is the worst it has ever been and totally unfit for purpose. It is almost impossible to ring and arrange an appointment as the receptionist is always busy, sometimes up to a 15 min wait just to arrange for a consultation phone call and the another wait until someone deems to ring you back and then you might be able to see a doctor, if you are ill this is quite honestly an insult and with the amount of housing currently being built in the area, the situation will only get a lot worse.

Considering demand for GP services Bartlett Group are way up there in providing appointments and access to a GP if required. I have been a patient for over 25 years and can only think of a couple of occasions when I felt blocked by receptionist when I called to book an appointment. I prefer the telephone call system now in place as you can speak to a GP rather than crowd into the waiting room. I am very proud of our Local Services knowing that local residents can at least speak to a GP whereby in some parts of the Country people have to Queue outside their surgery to get an appointment. thanks go to all staff who do their very best to provide a service.

You always get to speak to a Doctor, and rarely need to go in as so many things can be sorted over the phone. Therefore not need to miss time from work to attend an appointment. Dr Bitchnell is amazing, and the continuity of speaking to the same doctor about the same issue, makes you fell better supported and do not have to explain the same thing over and over.

Dr Leong and the entire nursing team (Leanne, Christine, Sarah & Keira) have been absolutely amazing from early diagnosis to treatment referral at the hospital and post operative care thereafter - which is still ongoing. Nothing is too much trouble for the reception staff to help with and the list of thank you's is endless. I cannot recommend highly enough just how attentive all of the team are at TBGP in Frimley Green and really recommend a visit in person! Thanks, Mr S Barclay

Hello I think to have to wait 20 plus minutes sometimes to speak to someone is a little too much. Once you get through I am actually not happy to discuss my issue with reception staff. So I always say I would like to have a chat with a Dr instead. Depends which staff is answering they can get funny about this. I obviously understand that Dr‘s don’t want to see patients with runny noses. However when I am concerned I prefer a face to face chat instead of feeling fobbed of on the phone.Sometimes you put the phone down and then it comes to your mind what you wanted to ask. In general the staff are friendly and the nurses absolutely lovely! In my healthcare I would prefer to be referred instead of trialling pills for 8 weeks and the Dr said then we see how it goes. What about you refer me to the department of need and get the facts whether I need said medicine? Feel a bit like a Guinea pig.
