I have been under Dr Jones's care for the last few years. He is clear in his messaging and communicates with great care and compassion. Dr Jones is an excellent listener and has always been accessible for guidance & support when needed. I would strongly recommend Dr Jones. He instils confidence and optimism.

Dr Robin Jones has been outstanding. We first heard of him while living overseas through his good and widespread reputation. We consulted with him initially via skype. He is the only doctor I have ever known to do this and it is a sign of how approachable and relaxed he is. During consultations he listens to everyone's view and discusses all treatment aspects quite thoroughly. Not to mention with a colleague or student he may have brought into the meeting. His advice is always balanced, pragmatic and rounded. As the more mature among us might also add, his bedside manner is excellent. My case is tertiary care and I'm pretty sure unique. For surgical opinions and emergencies I remain under an excellent team in Oxford. For my clinical trial I was at another location. Despite this and more Dr Jones unhesitatingly took me on as an oncology patient. In 2018 he pulled a rabbit out of hat : he managed to create a one man clinical trial for me in London providing the same care as I had received elsewhere. If he were not an internationally known and respected sarcoma specialist it is doubtful that would have happened. This has been an immense relief for mind, body and wallet and my family and I are very grateful to him. Robin is always looking for the next steps forward with optimism and many possibilities for further treatment have been aired. I recommend Robin Jones without hesitation or reservation.

I have seen Dr. Robin Jones three times now and he is utterley charming and extremely personable. He always makes sure I know it is good news before I have even sat down which shows just how in touch he is with how his patients are feeling. He is very easy to talk to, will explain anything you ask and very importantly, he is a very good listener indeed and full of encouragement. A wonderful doctor.

I am extremely grateful to Dr Jones for thinking and acting outside the NHS boxes on my behalf. He and his team have overseen my unlicensed chemotherapy treatment, mainly on the NHS, as I believe almost no-one else in the country would have. Unusually, and for my convenience, he has arranged scans locally for me whilst treating me in London. My impression is of a very compassionate and engaged doctor who responds to my complex needs with great skill and patience.

My late wife was a patient of Robin Jones for almost 3 years following an operation on her leg by M r Straus.The cancer spread to her lungs. Robin Jones and his team were marvellous,very professional, very approachable. Robin Jones was obviously a good team leader and set a high standard of patient care himself. We were always impressed by his dedication to his calling .Nothing was too much trouble and he was available for contact 24/7. I had to stop my wife sending emails towards the end of the week as they would invariably be answered over the weekend when off duty away from the hospital.He had an excellent believable and approachable manner. Everybody at the hospital we came into contact with, other patients,nurses, non medical staff all had a good word to say about Robins ability, manner, aproachability. I cannot imagine anyone failing to realise what an asset he is to Sarcoma management.
