Dr Aisha Miah has led my treatment and surveillance over the past 4 years. She has always been warm, yet calm, considered and utterly professional throughout. She has sought other opinions when the picture was not clear and has been diligent about giving me a voice in my treatment. I trust and respect her judgement, I love her manner. Whilst the circumstances have been far from fun, I feel incredibly lucky to have her as my consultant.

I met Dr Miah at my first appointment at the hospital, she explained everything in such a calm way that i knew I was in very good hands. At other appointments nothing was to much trouble and I don't think there is anything she could change. A really lovely lady.

I have had treatment at the Marsden for over 12 years now, and was passed to Dr. Miah by Mr. Hayes, so clearly having his recommendation was enough ! Dr Miah explains issues and treats me like an adult, and also answers my inane questions. She dealt with my initial pain very well, and then assisted me in coming off the steroids, and clearly explained the various side effects of all of the drugs so that my concerns were allayed speedily , making me a lot calmer.
