I was given my initial consultation 24 hours after enquiring, my pre op the following day and my operation date 5 days later to have a Cholecystectomy. I had been in severe pain for months and it was only once I had been seen by Prof Lloyd that it was taken seriously (unfortunately I was failed by the NHS). I had chronic acute cholecystitis in which my gallbladder was inflamed, had empyema and was scarred over many years and I am now 2 weeks post operation and I can’t believe the difference! From the initial consultation appointment, visiting me before and after my operation and at my follow up after the operation Prof Lloyd made me feel at ease and has shown so much care and understanding of my situation and has spoken and explained everything in detail. I honestly don’t know what I would have done without the intervention of Prof Lloyd and I can’t recommend him enough! Thank you Prof Lloyd and all the staff for taking such good care of me and getting me back to being my healthy self!

I had severe pain in my groin area for almost 12 months my physio put me in touch with Professor Lloyd who operated the Lloyd release on my groin and after two weeks I am now fully mobile again , I travelled from Glasgow to Leicester to get this operation and I would 100% recommend Professor Lloyd. I am so thankful for Professor Lloyd, who performed a laparoscopic Cholecystectomy on me. I had seen other specialists prior and none of them had reached a conclusion on how to help me. Professor Lloyd understood the pain I was in and promptly scheduled me for surgery for 2 weeks in time- I am now pain free finally. Whilst in hospital I spoke to Prof Lloyd before and after surgery, and he was confident and compassionate- I was completely at ease the whole time. I cannot recommend him enough.
