From my first consultation , to the day I was discharged, I received the best care I have ever received from any doctor/ Surgeon. She instilled confidence and calmness in me. Answered all my questions and enabled me to make the right choice of Lens. Prior to the operation I was sent an information pack which was fantastic, and was the reason I trialed contact lenses to get used to mono vision before having the surgery. Her after care service was incredible, way beyond what I had expected. Tahmina is a very friendly, confident doctor and I would have no hesitation in recommending anyone to her. Thank you

This is the first time I have been able to speak to a doctor and feel at ease. She operated on my eye and I was awake the whole time she made me smile and was very comforting.. I told her she was a good girl we talked about the gym anything to keep my mind off of her work she was gentle and so caring I am very happy to go see her again. Thank you so much Doctor Pearcell and to all the lovely nurses . Doris Holt

I suffered an acute angle closure glaucoma in 2007 in the left eye and as a result the eye pressure has been tricky to control on medication. Over the last year the pressure has been gradually rising to a level which put my continued good eyesight at risk. When I saw Ms Pearsall at the beginning of January she listed me for an urgent Trabeculectomy on the 13th January. I was naturally apprehensive as I understood that because of my history the operation was not going to be easy. It is now nearly 8 weeks' since the operation and I am amazed by the apparent success. Without any glaucoma medication the pressure in the operated eye first halved and now it is nearly two thirds of what it was previously. There have been no complications as a result of the surgery and the outlook looks very promising. FabUlous! I was very reassured at the beginning of the operation when Miss Pearsall administered the first anaesthetic injection. This was so skilfully performed I hardly knew the injection was being given. I feel very fortunate to have been under the expert care of Miss Pearsall, who is a specialist in glaucoma and cataract surgery at East Surrey Hospital, at such a critical time. I would thoroughly recommend anyone with similar problems to entrust their faith in her expertise and follow her guidance.

Ms Pearsall - gave me great confidence regarding my cataract operation and the general health of my eyes. The procedure and follow up were very straight forward, reassurance was given at every stage and I'm very pleased with the outcome. Furthermore she has accepted my 98 year old mother as a patient, she was so kind and gentle with her care we were both delighted. From our joint experiences I don't have any reservation about recommending Tahmina. Also her secretary Amanda is excellent, supporting Tahmina and patients alike!
