Isabella was amazing from the moment I first met her at park side, I was nervous and unsure, but Isabella went threw everything with me and even gave me homework that really helped me. I had a few appointments with her just to make sure I was 100% of what I having done pro’s con’s etc. the day of my surgery 22nd February 2023, I saw Isabella who was in my room for a while again going threw everything with me, explaining the surgery, recovery, pain etc. Isabella listens to you and gives amazing advise, I trusted her 100% , the results are amazing. If Isabella could be my full time GP I would be over the moon. Amazing surgeon.

I met and saw Mrs Karat today at Frimley.From the moment that I walked through the door I was made to feel welcome and at my ease and I thank her for that. She explained things to me as a human being ie be tlaked to rather than talked at. I will be seeing her again in two weeks time.

I am in my 30s and recently had a double skin and nipple sparing mastectomy due to high grade DCIS over a large % and BRCA2 gene mutation. I may need more surgery or radiation. Mrs Karat is a brilliant and skilled surgeon. It has only been three weeks, but it is very obvious that Mrs Karat did exceptional and very beautiful work. Everyone who has seen the result is in awe of how incredibly fortunate I am to have found Mrs Karat. Thank you for saving my life. It is very early days for me, there are many unknowns. The road has been surprisingly long already. I keep coming back with more questions and Mrs Karat patiently listens and responds empathetically. She makes time to talk as little or as much as I need to. Meetings have never felt clinical, but rather like a conversation with an old and trusted friend who will always be there for you. Mrs Karat makes me feel like her only patient and like I am her number one priority. By the time I had surgery I was fully prepared and knew exactly what to and what not to expect. She talked me through every step, best and worst case scenarios and helped me to set realistic expectations. Thank you for constantly reminding me that this difficult time will pass. Mrs Karat suggested a tailor made plan around my medical and cosmetic needs and we made adjustments until I was 100% happy and confident. I had an immediate reconstruction with temporary expanders to reduce the risk of skin necrosis. This plan allows me to focus on healing and getting better before making final cosmetic decisions. Thank you for taking care of me. It is very obvious that Mrs Karat is an outstanding leader and teacher and a brilliant mentor who is commended by, inspire and set an outstanding example to her colleagues and team members. Every member of Mrs Karats team shows the same care and values that she does. I had a different cancer in my 20s and was in the hands of a brilliant team, my expectations are very high. This far they have been surpassed in every way. Thank you for your humility, empathy, patience and kindness. Words cannot describe how grateful I am to you. Thank you for listening. Thank you for making me feel beautiful. Everything you have done has contributed to my strength and resilience and has made me believe that I may just have a crazy beautiful and very long life. You have a very special gift as a surgeon and as a person.

Isabella Karat is a wonderful lady who makes you feel at ease and doesn't fob you off or keep you in the dark. Mrs Karat has been honest with me from the start and fully I trust her opinion. She sat down with me and took her time explaining about the different shape and size inplants and gave her expert advice on what would suit my body shape. Mrs Karat has also pushed for other surgery I needed after medical experts failed to acknowledge me, for all of this I simply cannot thank you enough! You truely are one of life's hero's

What a wonderful. lady Mrs Karat is, kind hearted, friendly, professional and a brilliant surgeon. After 12 years my breast cancer returned, my previous consultant had moved on & so I was put under the care of Mrs Karat, how lucky was I! She explained my treatment thoroughly with me, always saying the final decision was mine, I never felt pushed into anything. It was during the covid pandemic, but I cannot fault my treatment. Even when my was operation was cancelled in December due to FPH going into lockdown, Mrs Karat phoned me personally to reassure me and put me on Letrozole to stop it spreading. I was then lucky enough to be given a slot at the end of January, mastectomy on left side with reconstruction – in on the Friday morning, home Saturday lunchtime. No pain, (painkillers worked well) the scar was so neat & no bruising, I couldn’t believe it after the mess & a black and blue breast after my lumpectomy 12 years previously. I have since had a replacement gel implant & a tattooed nipple – just amazing, looks 3D and so realistic, what cant this lady do! This is someone who I have complete faith in, thank you so much.
