Very efficient and professional service
Every one was very professional
Clare park was great, very clean and tidy , the staff looking after to me were amazing too. My nurse Lorna was brilliant very kind and caring. She spoke to me about how things were going to go while in the hospital’s care.
Every one I meet at Clare park on the ward and going to surgery we’re lovely and the nurses that I woke up to after surgery were kind and considerate.
I could of asked for better
What a wonderful. lady Mrs Karat is, kind hearted, friendly, professional and a brilliant surgeon. After 12 years my breast cancer returned, my previous consultant had moved on & so I was put under the care of Mrs Karat, how lucky was I! She explained my treatment thoroughly with me, always saying the final decision was mine, I never felt pushed into anything. It was during the covid pandemic, but I cannot fault my treatment. Even when my was operation was cancelled in December due to FPH going into lockdown, Mrs Karat phoned me personally to reassure me and put me on Letrozole to stop it spreading. I was then lucky enough to be given a slot at the end of January (at The Spire Clare Park, they opened up to NHS patients during the pandemic), mastectomy on left side with reconstruction – in on the Friday morning, home Saturday lunchtime. No pain, (painkillers worked well) the scar was so neat & no bruising, I couldn’t believe it after the mess & a black and blue breast after my lumpectomy 12 years previously. I have since had a replacement gel implant & a tattooed nipple – just amazing, looks 3D and so realistic, what cant this lady do! This is someone who I have complete faith in, thank you so much.
The receptionists at the hospital were very helpful on the day of the surgery. The nurses were very good at preparing me for the cataract surgery.
I would highly recommend this hospital for any Private Treatment.
This is a lovely hospital. The staff are incredibly friendly and professional, with everything running on time! I stayed overnight in a private room which was very nice, and received excellent friendly care.
Permanent staff at this hospital very helpful, polite and dealt with myself and others appropriately.
Locum/agency nurses not adequately supervised or managed.
- One such nurse who did my preop tests wore nail varnish, jeans and sandals. Hardly professional attire. She also went to use a bariatric BP cuff on me and there is no way I am overweight, let-alone bariatric.
- Had the misfortune of also being cared for by a locum/agency nurse during my daycase admission. This person wore nail varnish and did not return when she said she would postop so I had to call for assistance in order to get and fluids and food. Having had a regional block on my left arm and a cannula in my right hand, I had to ensure she took the cannula out before I tried to go to the toilet. She had said she'd come back to remove it later and I had to demand its removal there & then as there was no way I could wipe myself with both hands out-of-action.
Free parking
Friendly staff
Abiding by all Covid 19 recommendations
Having had a successful Trapeziectomy on my right hand in March 2020, I was very keen to have the same procedure on my left. In both case the operation was carried out by Mr Gavin Brigstocke at Spire Clare Park, Farnham. The treatment and the hospital were outstanding especially given the challenges with Covid 19. I would also like mention the anaesthetist Dr Ahmed Barakat who has a real talent for exuding calm professionalism, and good humour. An extra special mention also for my nurse on the day, Rebecca Mills. All round, an exceptional team
Great staff and great nursing care, soured by the hospital over charging me and not paying me back. It has gone on and gone on. Be careful if you choose Spire Clare Park as you may get overcharged and struggle to get it back.
