I worked with Mr Sethi as a junior doctor. He has always been calm polite and showed good manners. I have assissted Mr Sethi in theatre and I must say that I was impressed with his surgical skills as he made things seem a lot easier and slicker when operating. He is very caring for his patients , I've seen him assessing them personally pre as well as post operatively. He is keen on teaching juniors ,I've learnt a lot from Mr Sethi as he gave me the opportunity to practise new clinical skills under his direct supervision he was also able to tailor his teaching according to my level and interest.

Dr Deepu Sethi allowed me to enter his world and allow me to shadow him in order to for me to gain work experiene. The manner in which he answered my questions and queries is exemplary and he has certainly assisted me in deciding whether medicine is a potential career for me. To be given such a privilege to observe an experienced surgeon will undoubtely prepare me for any future interactions with the field of medicine and without Dr Sethi this would have not been possible. I also had the chance to observe Mr. Sethi interact with his patients and the way he maintained a calm attitude whilst ensuring the patient was made fully aware of their surgical procedure and the recovery process that followed. His ability to make his patients feel at ease coupled with his experience in this field certainly results in the many happy patients I witnessed during my time with Dr. Sethi. Dr. Sethi's welcoming and informative attitude has resulted in myself gaining a lot of experience within the field of orthopaedics. The manner in which he took the time out to describe the most smallest detail certainly shows his brilliant nature. Without him my experience would not have been possible and he has played an important and pivotal role in my future career. Thank you Dr. Sethi!

I was first sent to hospital to be under the care of a consultant who was subsequently promoted and I did feel as if I was shipped around to four different consultants, which was a bit unnerving. I was eventually seen by Mr Sethi who seemed interested in me and my problem. I was questioned at great length about the problem and after in depth discussion about a total hip replacement and the consequences the decision to operate was decided by both of us. After what seemed a very efficient reception into hospital I eventually found myself down in the operating where Mr Sethi saw me and again explained what was to happen. I found the operation without being unconscious a bit unnerving however accepted the pros outweighed cons in terms of recovery. I was seen by Mr Sethi both in the operating theatre and the recovery room after the operation where he told me what had happened and how well the procedure had gone. I saw Mr Sethi again the next day on the ward where he again explained what had happened. I saw Mr Sethi each day I was in hospital when he checked my progress. I feel I have progressed well since the operation despite having an infection when I was at home which my doctor cured with anti biotics. I today saw Mr Sethi 6 weeks after the operation where my progress was assessed and he discharged me. The one big thing that impressed me about Mr Sethi was the way he explained everything that was to happen and the unhurried way he listened to my questions allaying any fears in a calm controlled way. I think the best thing I can say is if I need further hip or knee surgery I would be asking for him to do it. Thank you.
