I had a knee replacement at the end of November, Mr Bokhari kept me fully informed of the procedure and put my mind at ease. Mr Bokhari came to see me after the surgery to explain how the operation went, the fact that my knee was a lot worse than what he thought but all the time his main priority was my care. The surgery he performed was first class, and the wound healed fantastically. I am 74 and I was walking without crutches after 2 weeks. I would highly recommend him.

Mr Bokhari provided excellent care. The surgery he performed was second to none. I am an 84 year old lady who had hip replacement surgery in October. I've had no problems since.The wound healed well and my mobility has improved a great deal since. I had very little pain after surgery.

Hip replacement op was faultless and totally successsful up to now after 6 weeks
He wasn’t sure originally whether to wait for op but as pain increased we decided to do it with excellent results

Mr Bokhari is a very skilled surgeon. He gave me a full knee replacement, which I am amazed with.
All the way through the procedure I was informed about what was going to happen. I was put at ease with all my questions answered precisely and in a way that I could understand.
I don't have any one else to compare with, but would be surprised if there is any one better.
Professional and reassuring from beginning to end.
Thank you very much for making me walk straight again and without the limp that i've had for years.

Mr Bokhari completed a arthroscopic procedure on my right knee at the end of October, he was very professional from pre operation discussions and on the day of the operation with the procedure explained in full detail and possible outcomes managed sensitively. I have today (7/12/2023) had my discharge consultation and was extremely impressed with the thorough discussion, with visual imagery of how the procedure went. Mr Bokhari is a caring consultant with his patients interest at the core of his medical advice.

Mr Bokhari is a Consultant at East Lancashire Hospitals Trust, The Beardwood Hospital, Euxton Hall Hospital and Buckshaw Hospital, specialising in hip and knee replacement surgery, complex hip and knee replacement surgery, revision surgery and peri prosthetic fracture fixation surgery.
Mr Bokhari obtained his medical degree in 2007 from the prestigious King's College Medical University in London and since completed his specialist training in Yorkshire. During this time, Mr Bokhari was involved in over 2800 operations, having been the primary Surgeon in over a thousand.
Once he obtained his certificate of completion training (CCT), Mr Bokhari was invited to undertake his fellowship at the birth centre of hip surgery and World renowned - Wrightington Hospital, where he refined his surgical skills to undertake complex primary and revision joint surgery.
Mr Bokhari has published many articles of which some have led to local and national changes. Mr Bokhari has also written a book to help senior trainees pass their consultant exams.
Mr Bokhari has a passion for teaching and this has led him to receive numerous teaching awards. His most prized award is the Dr Andrew White Master in Apprentice Teaching Award.
