Mr Giuliani treated our 15 month old son at The Portland Hospital last Monday where he had surgery for an inguinal hernia repair. From the first consultation onwards Mr Giuliani was professional, caring and reassuring. His secretary, Helen, has also been excellent from the start and so helpful. We would definitely recommend Mr Giuliani and his team at the Portland who provided such great care to our son. Thank you!

Our son had an inguinal hernia which appeared when he was 2 months old, we went to see Dr. Giuliani (at the Portland) after recommendation of or consultant paediatrician. Dr. Giuliani performed an inguinal hernia repair 2 weeks later (keyhole surgery).
Everything went smoothly and Dr. Giuliani reassured us along the way (very important as first time parents), couldn’t be happier.

We had wonderful care from Mr Giuliani, who has a great manner with little kids. We would really recommend him and we saw him at the Portland, who were also fabulous.

Mr Giuliani treated my 6 week old son with great care and sensitivity. It was a relatively minor procedure involving a tongue tie release but as a first time mother I was particularly apprehensive and nervous. He immediately put us at ease and clearly explained the procedure. He patiently answered the concerns I raised and examined my son very carefully. We felt extremely well looked after and I would highly recommend Mr Giuliani. His PA was also helpful and friendly, arranging for us to be seen by Mr Giuliani at very short notice.

Mr Giuliani qualified as a Specialist Paediatric Surgeon in 2006 at the University of Padova, Italy. Then he worked for four years at the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (USA) achieving excellent skills in neonatal, oncologic, transplant and minimally invasive surgery for children. Mr Giuliani has been a Consultant Paediatric Surgeon working in London since 2011. He spent 6 years at St George’s University Hospitals and now he is a Consultant Specialist Neonatal and Paediatric Surgeon at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children.
