I first saw Sri in 2005 and together with his secretary they fought my application to Redbridge Patient Care Trust for funding to have the Neurostimulator fitted. Fortunately my application was approved, apparently the first in Redbridge back then. I had the pacemaker fitted in 2006 and have never looked back. I had suffered since I was 12yrs old and up until I met Sri, I had had 17 operations and over the course of 40 odd yrs had been constantly in and out of hospital. Since having the pacemaker fitted (2006) I have not had to be admitted once. Sri certainly changed my life for me and I would recommend him to anyone and everyone. A massive Thank You to Sri and Medtronic. Sue Wells

What can I say about mr Sri Kadirkamanathan, words can’t describe what a wonderful and amazing man and surgeon he is, I had my my stomach pacemaker fitted in the Broomsfield hospital by mr Sri Kadirkamanathan and the robot on the 29th August 2018, after not being able to eat food for over 8 years and losing over 10 stone in the process, the surgery was a complete success, on the 1st night I ate some soup without being sick, the next morning I Te a yoghurt and some toast and a cup of tea, again no sickness, I have been out of hospital for just ove a week and I have been slowly eating food and no sickness, I hVe almost put on 12 pounds which is great, people are telling me I have a nice colour again, I feel like I have more energy and I have been out for a meal wth my wife for the 1st time in 8 years. So a massive thank you to mr Sri Kadirkamanathan and his wonderful team you have changed my life and my family’s life, we will be for ever greatful. My sri Kadirkamanathan never treated me as just another patient, he cared and was there every day even on his days off to see how I was doing, how my potassium levels were and making sure that everybody knew whT to do and what he needed them to do to get me in a fit and stable condition for my surgery, there was a major problem that was not picked up on my pre operation assessment and was not picked up until the day of my surgery, mr Kadirkamanathan and his team had come in on there days off to perform my surgery, and we only found out at 18.00 on the day of my surgery that is was going to be cancelled due to the mistake and negligence of the hospital, but mr Kadirkamanathan made sure I got a bed in the hospital and that I was treated for a week and a date arranged for the following Wednesday to have my surgery and that I was the 1st person on the 29th August to have my surgery, so as you can see this amazing man is not just a surgeon but a true caring human being.

Mr Sri is the best surgeon and specialist I have had the privilege to have met, he took on my case and has fought my corner since day 1. Where all other specialists had given up he has gone the extra mile to diagnose my condition and I’m booked in for August to have my life saving pacemaker surgery which could change my life if successful, he is a true professional and a wonderful man, I felt like he cared and wanted to make a difference, a truly remarkable man to who I trust my life with. Thank you is not enough for this wonderful man. We still have a long road ahead but I feel like I can move on and feel like my life will turn around. Thank you so so much.

Dr Siri is without a shadow of doubt the best gut doctor on the planet. I suffered terrible vomiting nausea, pain and weakness. Dr Siri gave me a pacemaker which has changed my life so much. I was in hospital ever two weeks for five years with gastro parisis, I owe my life to this doctor.

I had, had diabetes for 41 years and my body had paid the price. Dr Kadirkanamantha implanteda gastric pacemaker in me in Sept 2012. It changed my life, infact it gave me a LIFE. I cannot begin to tell you the difference it made to me. I weighed a little over 7 stone and as I was a 63 year old woman of 5' 6" tall, I was thin. I lived on soup and pureed food and very little of it. even water made me nauseous. If my husband and I went out to a resurant for a meal, I would take my hand blender with me, so the food could be reduced to puree. 4 years on, I am a healthy 8.5 stone in weight and can eat most things withut any problem. I even eat a 'proper' christmas dinner as my grandchildren told me. I am enjoying my life. What words arethere to express my gratutude to this man and his brilliant team. Thank you Dr Kadirkamanathan
