I had been suffering from a right side hernia for a while when I went to see Surgeon Sam just before Christmas. Diagnosis was instant and in early January I had my operation at the Park Hospital. The operation was a success and recovery took two weeks, I’m now back to normal. Thank you Surgeon Sam!

I have attended NHS Renal for a number of years and Mr Dutta has treated me with great compassion, care and attention. It has been an anxious time and Mr Dutta calmed my nerves and made me feel safe. I recently had a kidney transplant and cannot fault my care. I feel safe under his care Highly recommend

My mother recently needed a hernia operation and this was undertaken just before Christmas. She approached it with trepidation as she is 90 years old. Mr Dutta treated her with care and respect, was able to allay her fears. The operation was a success and her quality of life has greatly improved. A big thank you to you and your staff for the first class service we received.

Mr Dutta fully explained the procedure - inguinal hernia. He listened to me and provided valuable and reassuring advice. The surgery was carried out with no complications. He fully explained the recovery and healing to take place. A follow up meeting took place five weeks after surgery which confirmed the effectiveness of the surgery. He then gave good advice about restarting my exercise regime. An brilliant consultant surgeon.

9 years after receiving my simultaneous pancreas and transplant wear and tear caused the development of an incisional hernia that needed correcting. Due to the position of my new organs in my abdomen, Mr Dutta was the only surgeon that I had seen that was both confident and competent enough to help me out. Mr Dutta was clear about what the surgery would involve and what to expect during recovery giving me several options that he would consider whilst performing the procedure in order for the outcome to be successful. During my 5 day stay in hospital, Mr Dutta was very attentive of me and even showed me internal pictures of my surgery so I could see exactly what had been undertaken which I was very appreciative of. The long time I had to wait in order for the surgery to be performed was well worth it to make sure that the right man for the job was able to work his magic!
