Simon Ellis is a brilliant consultant caring and genuinely listens to your expectations. . Not only have I a new knee but a lovely straight leg now that has been a source of discomfort and embarrassment .
The night before operation he phoned me at home and assured me of any concerns and it really
helped pre arrival.

Mr Ellis recently performed an arthroscopy on my knee for a meniscal tear. He was very attentive during the initial consultation and I have made a good recovery. My husband really appreciated Mr Ellis phoning him following my surgery to let him know that all had gone well.

Dr Ellis did my left knee replacement in November 2019, so when it was time for right knee to be done I was pleased that dr Ellis would be doing the operation. Dr Ellis explains everything what will be happening and what is expected from you afterwards to help with your recovery.I had the operation in February 2021 and am very pleased with the outcome, hopefully now I can look forward to the future leading a more pain free life. Thank you dr Ellis and your team for the great care I received during my time in hospital.

Mr Simon Ellis is one of the South East's leading knee surgeons. He has over 25 years’ experience as a consultant based in Kent. Simon has a very simple but important mission statement "I give the same quality of care to my patients as I would want my family and friends to receive". Simon prides himself on communication. Simon's base is now the Spire Alexandra Hospital, Walderslade where he is able to cover most areas of Kent. Simon specialises in knee sports injuries which include meniscal and ligament issues as well as the management of knee arthritis.
