I was referred to Mr Kalkur at Wellesley Hospital. From the very first appointment Mr Kalkur made me feel at ease and able to discuss my health issues. He took time to listen, to explain procedures and the likely health benefits they would make, encouraging any questions or concerns I may have. Mr Kalkur has been amazing throughout my treatment for Womb & Ovarian Cancer. He was easily contactable for any questions I had before and after my surgery and then after when I had complications following the surgery. I've had all my follow up appointments with Mr Kalkur and he always makes me feel like I'm the only patient he has even over the last 2 years which have obviously been such a difficult time him and all medical staff. I'd like to thank Mr Kalkur for helping both me and my husband through all stages of my treatment.

Mr Kulkar was an exceptionally careful and kind clinician. He listened to my symptoms, provided me with some options, sought to understand what I was hoping to achieve and gently guided me to the right surgical treatment for me. I had a medium ovarian cyst and suspected endometriosis, both of which were causing a high degree of pain, plus extremely heavy and debilitating periods. Since my surgery to remove the cyst and insert the mirena coil, plus some adhesion removal (stage 4 endometriosis) I am thrilled to report that I am pain free for the first time in years and my periods are light and totally manageable. Mr K was a total star. I can’t remember on end him highly enough..

I was fortunate to meet / have a face to face consultation with Dr Kalkur during the pandemic, at the time I had lost hope of getting prompt treatment for large severely symptomatic fibroid. Dr Kalkur listened to me and discussed options, after which we embarked on a journey of pre- treatment followed by laparascopic hysterectomy.  The surgery went well and I recovered in no time.. He was always available at the end of the phone to answer questions. I called him again to discuss the menopausal symptoms i was facing, he booked an appointment for me to see him in 1 day. Thank you Dr Kalkur for going beyond and above to ensure my well-being and superb health. Also thanks to the staff at Spire Wellesley hospital Southend for their excellent care.
