I went with my husband to see Dr Rufus Cartwright yesterday. All I can say is that he is a brilliant professional, an emphatic person and a very good listener. Mr Rufus explained to me in detail what my options were. Mr Rufus is a great doctor and he has an excellent patient-centric approach.

I found Mr Rufus Cartwright most helpful. He explained every detail of my treatment to me in a friendly and informative way. Most of all he didn't talk down to me or treat me as an "old lady" who may not understand what he was saying. I did not feel that he was using a "tick box" when talking to me and he listened to what I had to say. I would definitely recommend him to other patients.

A really satisfactory appointment with Mr Rufus Cartwright. He listened sympathetically to my problems, and made some helpful suggestions for treatment. I left feeling more hopeful that I might find a solution to a more than decade old pain problem. He has a very good manner and he was very supportive.

I felt immediate trust when I met Mr Rufus Cartwright, he listened to me and I have had a bad 6 years (2014) with something that should of been corrected in 2016, he was very reassuring and told me what he is going to do, after he had examined me and read through all correspondence and test results. He was very professional and also friendly, he explained what he was going to do surgery wise and the benefits from that but also he was very honest about the risks, I can't speak highly enough of him, I cried tears of joy at finally being given a light at the end of a tunnel, which is very painful and a limiting condition, he will change my life, I have every faith in him, I have been under many doctors, consultants and everything between, to say I've met a lot of them is an understatement, I can safely say Mr Rufus Cartwright is everything you want and need in a doctor/surgeon/consultant, I was frightened of the surgery I am due to have, but he literally made me feel I'm in safe hands, I know he will try 100% to get me sorted, I have no doubts at all. The NHS is blessed to have him.
