I saw Mr Cartwright as an NHS patient at Chelsea and Westminster hospital. He was able to request an MRI as l had ongoing pain in the right iliac fossa area. No one had solved the problem. The scan showed l had a problem with bursitis in the sacroiliac joint. The rheumatologists who had not picked this up were then able to prescribe steroid injections in these joints. Mr Cartwright listens intently. He is highly intelligent , empathetic and friendly. I would recommend him highly and we are fortunate that he works at Chelsea and Westminster. The only problem is that his clinics are busy.

I have had two years of problems with Northwick Park Hospital, wrong procedures, referrals not being made when they had been promised. Just over 4 weeks ago Dr Cartwright offered to take over my care at Chelsea and Westminster and I am so glad he rang me. Within 4 weeks he got me booked in for a procedure I desperately needed. I cannot praise him and his amazing team more highly. From the moment I arrived I felt I was being listened to. Dr Cartwright asked me to explain exactly what I was expecting from the procedure. He listened attentively and after the procedure came straight over to tell me what he had found. I am so happy I am finally one step closer to finding a solution to my condition.

We can't put this any clearer than what has already been stated here below: "Throughout the consultation Mr Cartwright was clear, gave time to ensure all the options and potential outcomes were understood, the merits of each and where consideration should be given in evaluating them. He went at a pace to ensure that full understanding was reached enabling a feeling of being listened to and involved in the medical decisions needed to be taken." A most professional and caring doctor.
