Before I met Mr Barod I had been given a number of extremely complimentary reports about his ability. He became the lead consultant in my case. I could not be more grateful to him for all that he did. From the moment that he took charge, I, and my wife. were filled with a great sense of relief. He always took the trouble to explain everything in detail and discuss every aspect of my treatment and care, and he was never too busy or pre-occupied to discuss all of the options that were available and the implications. Two months later my health has improved dramatically and all is back to normal. Ravi Barod excels at what he does does and is a credit to his profession. His skill and expertise are second to none. I am indebted to him.

Good pre-op consultations with Mr Barod, members of his team and anaethetist explaining the operation and follow-up care. Post-op I had several visits and checks by Mr Barod and his Registrars - all very helpful and understanding. I was home two days later with all dressings off and normal mobility. Now, three weeks on from the operation, I've been walking three miles every day since I left hospital, still being careful about lifting, wounds still healing nicely. Everything pretty much back to normal. Mr Barod called me to confirm that the growth had been cancerous and was completely removed - GREAT JOB DONE!

#sayThankYou

Dear Mr Barod, My dad and my family would like to thank you for everything you and the team did to help him, especially during this pandemic. From the very first appointment my dad was so happy and very impressed with the level of professionalism you had shown him. My dad was especially happy that you allowed him to explain what he understood of his condition. You waited patiently while he explained with the broken English he knows and not a lot of doctors would do that. You are such a kind, caring and compassionate doctor and we really were so lucky to have you performing my dads operation on him. Thanks to you my dad is doing so much better now and he is currently cancer free. We are so grateful and wish you all the best in this life. From Yousuf & Tanjina

Mr Barod is an outstanding doctor. I cannot thank him enough for the quality of care that he and his team provided for my dad. From the very first meeting up until our final telephone consultation Mr Barod was professional, kind ad compassionate - everything you want in a doctor. He took the time to listen to my dads understanding of his diagnosis (my dads English is not the best) and he was so helpful and patient. Thanks to Mr Barod my dad has made a full recovery and we are eternally grateful.

Dr Barod performed a complicated robotic assisted partial nephrectomy where my lesion was entangled in my renal arteries. I cannot express my fear and anxiety when I realised the lesion was there. Dr Barod is an amazing surgeon who managed to save my entire kidney with his expertise. My GFR went from 51 to 67 after 6 months, my follow up scan results are also cancer free. He was so caring and kind to me. Extremely supportive and informative when dealing with my husband who too was anxious about the whole procedure. There are no words that I can express to stress how I value Dr Barod. Truly a gifted surgeon!!
