I would like to thank you, Mr Cohen and his team for the tremendous job he carried out on my prostate procedure. I am extremely pleased that you were able to carry out the procedure in one go. Thus preventing me from further anxiety and stress. Mr Cohen is one of the most caring and empathetic health professionals I have ever met. The care that I received at the ROYAL FREE and Barnet is outstanding ,once again thank you very very much.

Thank you to Mr. Cohen and his nursing team for making today’ s biopsy procedure less stressful than anticipated. A happy, smiling nurses face goes a long way. Mr. Cohen explained in detail the procedure and allowed me to ask questions. He explained step by step each time he moved on to the next phase of the procedure and continually asked if I was ok to continue. He has a wonderful sympathetic manner and was reassuring to a highly nervous patient.

I was diagnosed with an enlarged prostate in 2016, medication didn't work for, my situation didn't start to be a problem until August 2021, when I had to wear a catheter after being rushed to hospital with severe urine retention. After a brief meeting with one of the top urologists at Royal Free Barnet in December 2021, I was put on the emergency waiting list. My surgery was performed by Mr Daniel Cohen in January 2022. I met Mr Cohen briefly after a visit from him and a colleague (Michael) to the ward I was staying in after the HoLEP surgery he (Daniel Cohen) performed on my prostate. Mr Cohen strikes me as a man who is dedicated to his profession, accompanied by a pleasant and warm spirit. Truly a great Surgeon of our time, he explained what took place during the surgery and left me with a feeling of confidence which was very reassuring especially considering all the difficulties I had experienced over several months of wearing a catheter. Thanks to Mr Cohen, I am now catheter free. Thank you very much, I am truly grateful to you and your team.

Mr Daniel Cohen is one of the most caring Surgeons I've ever met. He is very empathic, and patient, as well as inspiring confidence in his patients. After I had my TURBT, he was extremely helpful, with prompt suggestions for the relief of pain by changing meds. Highly recommended!
