Mr Gooseman is currently working in the cardio thoracic unit at Castle Hill Hospital. He is a very caring person, has excellent commuicates skills and involves the patients on the ward round and decision making reguarding there care. will spend alot of time with patients and their family when delivering upsetting news. Michael wishes to be a surgeon in Cardiothoracic Surgery, Michael has just started his career in this speciality and having worked with in the operating theatre in harvesting veins for heart surgery, l have found him very keen and willing to master the first stages in this long path. He is able to take advice and criticism and come to speed as a dedicated surgeon . If he continues in this manner in years to come he will be a credited surgeon, with in the world of Cardiac Surgeons. I wish him luck in his chosen profession.

Having worked with Mr Gooseman I have found him to be a professional and caring doctor. He has good communications skills, speaking to and involving patients and relatives in their care and plan of care, involving them in decisions and interventions! He is also a good team player within the cardiothoracic teams and involves all members of the multidisciplinary team. Furthermore he is approachable for patients and staff, involving, explaining and teaching things when required. Overall he is a trustworthy, friendly and knowledgeable doctor.
