A bit late in the day, but 16 years after the triple bypass carried out by Mr Cale (1 June 2005), I can attest to his skill and thank him for saving my life. Thank you Alex Cale for giving me my life back.

Brilliant surgeon, straight forward in his approach and put me at ease and gave me confidence, I can’t thank him enough. Mechanical aortic valve replacement and aortic graft, 5 months on and scar fading well, 3 months post op and I was back at work full time 5 months on and I’m back to cycling, swimming and enjoying life to the full.

Since being operated on in 2003, I've seen the birth of another grandchild, watched my daughter become a solicitor, gained a second degree, appeared on TV [Big Painting Challenge 2017] and become a full-time artist with my own gallery.
