I was very comfortable with Mr Oliver at our first meeting and I felt confident in his abilities. He listened to how the pain I was experiencing was affecting me and explained my options. I chose to have a total hip replacement. Mr Oliver did my hip replacement and my scar is neat and healing fast. I felt safe and comfortable throughout my stay at Benenden Hospital. I have just been to see Mr Oliver again, 7 weeks after my op, and I am walking without pain and restarting my activities. Mr Oliver answered my questions clearly and patiently. I am grateful for his excellent work and I am very happy to recommend him.

I had a knee operation on the 10th May 2022 at Benenden Hospital under the care of Mr. Matthew Oliver and his team who put me at ease and gave me confidence. The operation was successful and the after care was and still is first class. I cannot speak highly enough of Mr. Oliver, his team and nursing staff for their first class care and attention. Mr Oliver gave me a new hip a couple of years ago. From start to finish he was marvellous in every way. If I ever need a new hip or knee I really hope he could be my surgeon again.
