I had the pleasure of meeting Mr Arsan last year at Highgate private hospital where he performed surgery on my right thumb. His aftercare is impeccable. He is an adorable man whose work ethics I admire. He is very meticulous in the way he executes his work. He is a very caring person who is never too busy listen. I admire the way in which he draws illustrations to explain whatever procedure he is about to carry out. He is a wonderful person who enjoys helping others . He is a very valuable asset wherever he works. He makes you feel as though he had known you for years. Very relaxing. Very caring. Very understanding. I I would love to nominate him for being such an adorable person

I've had many procedures performed on me over the years and I can safely say that Dr Arsan Matay rates amongst the top. He has a warm and friendly manner and seems caring and he maintains professionalism at all times. Great doctor!

I had an elbow and wrist surgery. My elbow remained about 45% bent; I only had approx. 45-90% range of motion eight weeks after surgery despite regular physiotherapy. I was very despondant as pain was severe with little improvement. I transferred my care to Mr Arsan as I had been told by colleagues that he is a very good surgeon. And I was not disappointed as Mr Arsan did an absolutely brilliant job. Mr Arsan is a very friendly, approachable, loving, and caring surgeon, who upon our first meeting convinsed me that he will do his best to correct my elbow. He answered all my concerns and questions patiently and with warm welcoming approach. Mr Arsan did everything to keep me well informed about the surgical procedure and everything I needed to know. Not only that, in one meeting I was very emotional and Mr Arsan put his hand on my back and said "you will get better" with a promising tone. I felt really looked after. On the day of the surgery, I was well informed about the procedure and was given an opportunity to request them to manipulate my wrist as well; this was noted and actioned very well. The surgery was completed within 2 hours and a cast was put on my arm for a week to keep the elbow straight. I was so happy to see my elbow straight. Mr Arsan came to see me after the surgery and instructed me exactly what I need to do to get best of the rehab. And now it's been just over a month and my elbow range is about <5-130 degrees which is a huge success. I am very happy and thankful to Mr Arsan. He did an amazing job beyond my expectation and I highly recommend Mr Arsan to all patients. I would like to thank Mr Arsan (and his team) from the bottom of my heart for his kindness and a successful surgery.

Me Arsan is one of the kindest, considerate and Professional doctors I have encountered. He does his utmost to put you at ease, he listens carefully ensuring he has the correct picture and then ensures you receive the Best treatment available. I had some reactions to a previous anaesthetic, he called to reassure me that he would be doing the operation and the local anaesthetic to be sure everything went smoothly so I wasn’t to worry. In the operation he talked to me to check I was OK. He is the Best advert for the NHS and Homerton Hospital: highly Professional; an Expert in his field; So kind, patient, considerate And funny; he treats the nurses and doctors with respect and dignity in equal measure. His modesty and manner, I believe, brings out the best in those he works with. Everyone seemed to really like and respect him. He operated on both my hands for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome which I had suffered badly with for several years. Quite simply he gave me back my hands and for this I will be forever grateful.

Mr Arsan is an excellent and skilled consultant, who took the time to explain both the condition and complications of carpal tunnel syndrome and the procedure. Even during the procedure, he and his team were extremely kind. I am glad that my left hand is healing well, thanks to Mr Arsan.
