Mr Kaushal and Suzanne have been absolutely fantastic. After being diagnosed with bowel cancer the treatment and care I have received has been amazing, everything has been explained along the way. Following my wife’s diagnosis with bowel cancer Mr Kaushal together with a cancer nurse met us and explained the situation and possible courses of action. The whole meeting was conducted sensitively and with compassion, answering questions we had. Taking time at this stage was a great confidence booster. Following surgery on Sept 22 (2021) I was particularly impressed to have Mr Kaushal call me himself to say the surgery had been completed successfully.( an indication of a caring surgeon). care and recovery were excellent and discharge from hospital on day 6. The follow up meeting indicated the need for adjuvant chemotherapy and a seamless transfer to Dr Ton in oncology was.effected We have nothing but praise for the care and attention received from all concerned and wish to use this review to say thank you for taking time and showing concern which has been so helpful , not only for my wife, but also for myself. Thank you Rhoda and Gordon Egglestone

Dear Mr Kaushal, Following a recent colonoscopy which you and your team performed at Furness General Hospital on myself, I would like to thank you and your team for the way you approached and took care of the whole procedure. I knew it would be invasive but felt totally at ease through out the whole procedure due to you and your teams caring and thoughtful approach. Mr Kaushal is a wonderful, educated & knowledgeable, kind doctor who has a fantastic bedside manner. He listened to me, he understood my problem and my circumstances, he made me feel like I was the only patient in the world that he was helping, which made me feel so cared for. He was extremely busy as doctors often are, but he still saw me in the morning and operated on me in the night. His care has been very much appreciated, and I look forward to hearing an update when I attend his future clinic. I wasn't sure if I was making a mountain out of a molehill with my condition, by Mr Kaushal soon put my mind at rest and empathised with me. Thank you Mr Kaushal, you're an asset to the NHS
