Having suffered for about 8 years with acid reflux and my symptoms worsening, Mr Fareed agreed that I would be a suitable candidate for surgery. Even after I was unable to tolerate one of the important tests required to ascertain the severity of acid being produced by my stomach, Mr Fareed was understanding and sympathetic, and offered an alternative test that was less invasive and far less traumatic for me. I honestly can't thank him enough for the life changing surgery that he undertook on me. I have no reflux at all now! Mr Fareed has been kind, caring, sympathetic and has had my welfare at the heart of his thoughts for my treatment. If I could give him a gold star I would.

When I first met Mr Fareed I immediately felt at ease and was soon impressed by his friendly, caring and competent approach. This continued throughout the operation to remove my gallbladder and my follow up appointment. I have no hesitation in recommending his services to others.

My father was referred to me fareed on the nhs for a consultation for his hernia. We had the appointment at Royal Derby and Mr Fareed said that my father needed surgery but couldn’t say how long he would have to wait. We decided there and then that we would pay for the operation. He had his operation 2 weeks later he’s been discharged today. What can I say every single person involved from the receptionist, nurses and of course Mr Fareed all go above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly, I even got a phone call from Mr Fareed himself to reassure me that my father was ok when he came out of theatre Thankyou so much one very happy satisfied patient

I found Mr Fareed a friendly,caring,talented surgeon,who on my first consultation reassured and explained my condition and all operation putting me at ease and it was nice not to be rushed.After the operation Mr Fareed took time out to ring my wife to say how the operation had gone,she was so surprised, I would highly recommend Mr Khaleel Fareed at the Royal Derby hospital, Thankyou Mr Fareed and your team.

I Cannot see that I could receive any better care or improvement than that which I received from Mr Fareed and the two consultants in his team. All three were patient, unhurried, informative and caring. The Royal Derby is fortunate to have them and I am grateful.
