Jonathan Bell conducted a total knee replacement for me in December 2012, at Parkside Hospital, Wimbledon. This followed a period of extreme pain for a number of years. His explanation of the procedure was concise, and to the point, leaving nothing unexplained, and answering my questions in an understandable way. Whilst in the hospital, he visited on a daily basis, even on the weekend, and he was a caring and considerate consultant. I am delighted to say, that I am now pain free, and back to living life to the full. I would recommend Jonathan to anyone seeking remedies to knee problems.

Mr Bell was friendly, approachable and happy to listen to details of my complaint. He was patient listening to my answers and I never felt rushed. He was gentle and thorough examining my knee. He explained the plan, carefully, that he wanted to take - giving me plenty of time to ask questions. When he called after the results of an investigation, he was clear with the results and explained fully the next process that he wanted to take.

I was passed on the details of Mr Bell from another Consultant who also worked with knee problems but felt that Mr BELL was the best person to deal with issues particular to my knee. So I would suggest that speaks volumes in itself. I was appreciative of a straight forward evaluation of my knee and the future prognosis for it. The Arthroscopy went very well and a good 'Spring clean' of my knee took place. I have to say I am immediately feeling the benefits. Some extra advise regarding how long to take pain killers / anti inflammatory tablets from the start would perhaps assist. I wasn't in real pain but did have some swelling so wasn't sure whether to keep taking the tablets. That said the Wimbledon Clinic are only a phone call away, so any such concerns are addressed easily. To conclude I have been very impressed with Mr Bell and his team and have no hesitation in recommending him.

Mr Bell operated on my knee in December 2011. It was key hole surgery and he was very good. The knee is now fine and I really can't see any scars. I wouldn't hesitate recommending Mr Bell. My physiotherapist told me he was the man to see if you have any kind of knee issues, she was right. I have returned to see Mr Bell regarding issues with my right knee this time, I wouldn't go to anyone else other than Mr Bell now.

Mr Bell has given me excellent care right from the start after my knee injury. My initial consultation was very thorough and my options were made clear and as a result I was confident to go ahead with knee surgery. He is an excellent surgeon and his Anaesthetist is also brilliant. My recovery has been exactly as Mr Bell explained at the beginning. I am still under his care and feel very confident that my knee will be as good as new.
