Mr Alazzawi is a great surgeon, I cant thank him enough for the remarkable work he proformed on my knee. Not only does this doctor listen to the patient, he takes time to explain, in detail, the position as far as 'they' know it. So, instead of dumbing down the patient, he treats his patients with respect, dignity and wisdom, a partner in finding the right solution and expertise for the case before him. My name is Shirley, I first saw Mr Alazzawi in April about my total knee replacement surgery. He explained in great detail the nature of the surgery and recovery. He answered all the questions I asked and I understood all he told me. I had the operation in early September at Epsom Hospital SWELOC. He welcomed me on the day of the operation and I had total faith in him. The operation was an outstanding success. Everything that Mr Alazzawi had told me about the operation was indeed playing out. My 6 week follow up appointment with Mr Alazzawi was conducted at St George's Hospital. He was extremely happy with my progress and healing. My grateful thanks to Mr Alazzawi for giving me my life back being able to walk without a limp and totally pain free. Mr Alazzawi has a friendly manner while being extremely professional. Dr Alazzawi is a fantastic surgeon. He was kind and caring and made me feel completely at ease every step of the way. My knee replacement is amazing just 6 weeks weeks after surgery and this is life changing for me after sleepless nights of pain and limited mobility leaving me trapped in the house much of the time. I now have my freedom back. The whole experience was easy and straightforward, it really couldn't have been better. All the staff at Epsom hospital were wonderful, I don't think it's possible to improve on any of the treatment I received, from start to finish. I am so grateful to Dr Alazzawi and all the staff who turned what was initially a frightening prospect into a pleasant experience. Mr Alazzawi was a great surgeon - not only are my knee replacements (yes both of them) now working really well but I felt very well cared for during the whole procedure by him and his team. He listened and answered all of my questions - told me what to expect and obviously did a great job as I went on a recent holiday and walked around houses, gardens, all with a smile on my face.
