I had to have a relatively minor surgery today undertaken by Mr Grant. He made everything straightforward and put me very much at ease throughout the procedure, understanding how anxious I was about it all. I can’t praise him enough and thank him for putting an end to the misery my condition had been giving me for far too long. Thank you Mr Grant and to all the staff at Addenbrookes.

Mr Grant is an outstanding surgeon and one of the nicest people you could wish to meet. I underwent a 4 hour reconstructive breast surgery operation. I met Mr Grant several times to discuss the procedure, my expectations, worries and fears. Every time was a pleasure. Mr Grant is honest, kind and so respectful. He took lots of time to explain everything calmly and clearly and answered and valued all of my many questions. He has a lovely, considerate manner and I cannot praise him or recommend him highly enough. It is so important and difficult to choose the right surgeon. I feel very lucky to have found Mr Grant. I will be eternally grateful for his expertise and care as he has changed my life for the better in the most positive way. He is a superb surgeon and a wonderful human being.

Mr Grant always listens and takes time to ensure we felt all questions had been answered. He is a highly skilled surgeon who knows instinctively what the issues are with a couple of touches on the injured limb. If he doesn’t know he will go away and find out. He is a calm, down to earth, straight talking man who will ensure you have all the facts you need. I would never go to anyone else now, he is an exceptionally busy man but will always take time to ensure his patients are comfortable and well informed. Cannot thank him enough. We are very lucky to have him at aaddenbrookes.

After a severe head wound during the first lock down I make a claim for damages that needed a medical report. Due to Covid restrictions I had a zoom call with Ian Grant and he assessed the scar from photos and gave great ongoing advice on how the wound would heal. He was very thorough and professional and his advice and communication with the report helped my gain a very good claim result. I would highly recommend Ian for his advice.
