I was referred to Mr Davies after a routine health assessment identified some suspicious breast tissue. Tests revealed DCIS / early breast cancer and I subsequently underwent surgery at the Cromwell Hospital. Fortunately, as it I was caught so early, I did not require any further treatment. At all stages Mr Davies explained clearly what was happening and why, and gave me the opportunity to ask the questions I needed to make a confident decision on the treatment needed. The surgery went very well, I recovered quickly and l was very happy with the results of the reconstruction. Mr Davies takes a very caring approach and talked me through a range of other services available to support me through the process. He made me feel like a person rather than just another patient, which was very important at what was quite a difficult time. I would not hesitate to recommend him to others who have concerns or require further investigation into potential issues with their breasts.

Mr Davies was a very understanding doctor who listened and was able to give a holistic rather than just medical approach to health care. I welcomed all the advice that he gave me on life style and sleep as well as his professional approach to his medical specialisation.
