I found this doctor very professional and more importantly very approachable, he made you feel that you could talk to him without feeling he’s judging you. All in all A very nice person. He also explained things very well and made it easy to understand what your options are. I would wholeheartedly recommend this doctor anyone.

I felt totally relaxed with Mr Gidon Ellis, very easy to commute with, he listened to everything I had to say first, then give me his suggestions and explanations of what we were discussing rather then the other way round. I find a lot of consultants/doctors don't really listen to what the you has to say and treat you by the book. Not every one is the same.
He had time for me.

When I visited Mr Gidon Ellis at Royal free Hospital, he was very friendly, showed so much empathy and paid attention to me story . He was very reassuring and displayed so much professionally in his response, examination of my body and very clear in his explanation of ailment and treatment .
He reviewed my case notes sent to him and asked questions in a professional and very matured manner that gave me and my wife who was with me a peace of mind and hope.

He was friendly and clear in what he had to say. I liked that he gave the context of his thought process which made it easy to understand his reasoning as the appointment continued. He gave useful advice and took interest in what I had to say. A very good experience!

Mr Gidon Ellis is a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust.
He has a broad general urology practice with specialist interests in kidney stones, male lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) and laser prostate surgery (HoLEP). He also specialises in the diagnosis and minimally invasive treatment of urothelial cancers in the bladder and upper urinary tracts.
He is a core member of the bladder cancer, renal cancer and stone MDTs. He has served as faculty member on various national and international workshops and masterclasses in both stone management and HoLEP surgery.
