Straight to the point, honest. I could have spent 2 yrs via NHS, I’d been limping and due to covid couldn’t see a doctor.. post covid still struggled so booked an appointment with MR Britton at Nuffield York and 4 weeks after new knee returned to work and now 12 weeks fully functional. Mr Britton was excellent and for me a superb job completed. Brought life back to me.

Mr Britton gave great care in relation to my Total Knee Replacement. My first consultation we discussed options, Mr Britton answered any questions I had and we agreed on a TKR. During this consultation Mr Britton recommended PhysioLab to help with post op recovery - this was a great recommendation and was a great help with recovery. The operation went well and Mr Britton was very reassuring and advised straight after the op as to how it went. In my final consultation with Mr Britton he showed the before and after X-rays and answered all questions I and my wife had. Great consultant, very open to answering questions and addressing concerns. Could not be happier with the service.

Mr Britton’s explanation of my Arthroscopy was clear and made totally understandable to myself. His manner was professional and approachable at all times, and had total confidence with Mr Britton and his team.

Very informative and went through the whole procedure in detail before and after surgery. The only downside would have been the waiting time, but in current climates I would say I got seen fairly quick. I don’t trust many people but I knew I was in great hands with Mr Britton. If I have any problems with my knees in the future Mr Britton would be my first go to.

I found Mr Britton to be a very sympathetic and encouraging person who reassured me that he was going to do everything in his power to treat and resolve my orthopaedic problem and that is exactly what he did, to someone who had been in constant pain this was what they wanted to hear but Mr Britton spoke clearly and honestly showing that the was indeed very concerned with the effects of forth coming surgery could have and spoke quietly and sensitively through the process of the surgery and giving plenty of time for me to process this and to ask as many questions as I could think of. This was the case on all future meetings and I felt that I was in very safe hands, asking if there is any improvements that I may think of better the service I experienced then I can honestly say I could have not been looked after better both with visits by Mr Britton to monitor my progress nor with the entire nursing staff to the catering staff.
