Mr Edward Britton

Mr Britton completed an arthroscopy on my right knee about six weeks ago. His original examination and explanation of what was wrong with the knee was exceptionally clear, as was his description of the operation. The knee has recovered steadily and my recent meeting with him to consider progress was very helpful, including our discussion of how to proceed now with exercise going forward. His description of the condition of my knee and that it is likely I will need an artificial replacement in the next few years was also given with care. I cannot recommend Edward Britton highly enough.

I want to say that from day one my trust and confidence in Mr Britton has been total. His description of my condition in both knees and what needed to be done was very concise and informative helping me to decide my plan of action. Originally I was seeing Mr Britton as an NHS patient but after waiting so long and my condition in both knees becoming increasingly difficult to manage I decided that I would enquire as a private patient and duly had a procedure on my right knee on 07/12/2024. I have to say that the Nuffield team which cared for me during my brief stay under their care were absolutely wonderful from Theatre staff to the Ward staff and the Physiotherapists plus Administrative guys - "well done to you all", I will definitely be saving up to come in for my second procedure many thanks to you all.

On August 3rd I was admitted into The Nuffield Hospital to have a total hip replacement l would sincerely like to thank Mr Edward Britto the surgeon who carried out the procedure and all the staff who cared for me with such kindness I am extremely grateful to you all Mrs Jacqueline Bean

He is very professional but friendly at the same time. He explains things clearly and simply in an easy to understand way. He always gives you the chance to ask questions and I have never felt that anything was too simple to ask, or was a waste of his time. I completely trust his advice and judgement and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others. He has made what could have been a worrying time into one that I felt extremely comfortable with. I am also completely satisfied with the outcome of my treatment. Thankyou.
