From me first meeting with Mr Britton at my Initial Consultation I felt as ease and knew I was in Good Hands. He listened to me and explained everything. On the Morning of my Operation he came in to see much and explained the Procedure that he was going to do later on that morning. Once I got back into the Recovery Room after my Operation he came to check that everything was okay. Later on that day he came to my Room to check on me before he left for the day. The following Afternoon he called again just to check that I was happy as I was going Home. I will certainly recommend Mr Britton to anyone I know. At my 6 week Check Up he explained what he had done and showed me the Before and After X-Rays. From Day 1 after my Operation I was Pain Free. At this stage he was happy to Discharge me but told me not to hesitate to contact him if I had any further issues or problems. Thank you Mr Britton for working your 'Magic' on me and giving me a new lease of life, I can now enjoy my Retirement.

All the way through my care with Mr Britton he has been clear in his communication, listened to any concerns or questions I have and been accessible. I have always felt safe and comfortable with any and all treatment and the end result following my surgery has been life changing. I can not thank Mr Britton enough.

Mr Britton discussed my x-rays and explained very clearly what procedure he would recommend and why. Both my procedures were successful and my recovery was very good with minimal time in hospital. Mr Britton puts you at ease with his pleasant manner and is very approachable.

Having two hip replacements was a big challenge for me but it was made so much easier by the kind and understanding treatment I received! Firstly Catherine, Mr Britton’s PA was so kind, positive and helpful . If she said she would ring back… she did!!!! Then Mr. Britton , from our first meeting ( me in pain, in a wheelchair!) was kind and positive. This continued throughout! As I was being prepped for the first op he said ‘ right let’s get you walking again!’ And he has!! After the second op, I had an infection in my wound ( brought on by my own stupidity of pulling out a stitch which was annoying me!! ) Mr Britton continued to see me until it was completely cleared up which took some weeks! So , here I am, walking and free from pain thanks to the care and expertise of Mr Britton and his team!

From the first consultation Mr Britton was very likeable, being easy to speak to and very quickly displayed an excellent grasp of my leg conditions, considering historic injuries which had a bearing on fitting of the new joint. The operation was on a Saturday morning, recovery Sunday, home on Monday. Mr Britton visited me each day confirming all seemed very much in order and after final x-rays Monday morning he confirmed the hip joint was well placed and I would be going home in the afternoon. An amazing experience with little pain (2/3). I had the utmost confidence in this surgeon, and his excellent team. I will be seeing Mr Britton in 5 weeks time. The spinal block was the right anaesthetic for me together with sedative it worked very well. I honestly could not think of anything that would improve a well practised procedure.
