I had recent bunion surgery. Mr Jowett was thorough with my care and listened to all my concerns. The surgery was booked in and I didn’t have to wait at all. I did not feel anxious as I knew I was in good hands. After surgery, apart from the first couple of days with some discomfort, I have had very little pain. The results are brilliant and at the post operative clinic with Mr Jowett all my questions were answered. I have been thrilled with the outcome and I am glad I have had the procedure done after 40 years of delay due to a bad past experience with my other foot.

On 23 January 2024 my second toe/left foot was amputated at Clifton Park Hospital York - the operation sponsored by our NHS The Consultant/Surgeon was Mr Charlie Jowett ..What a fantastic experience. Not only did I not feel pain as I had expected afterwards but the actual operation made me realise what a very skillful surgeon this person is!! Also, he is very personable man, who clearly listens carefully to patients - but also has unique surgery skills. He is a credit to our surgeons I am indebted to this key health professional, and his core operating team - and superb treatment all round from all staff at Clifton Park - no doubt inspired by Mr Jowett Thank you indeed Cliff Preest Thirsk YO7 1TY

Dr Jowett was very professional and cordial every time I spoke with him, and during both procedures I had at Clifton Park, aswel as the people working with him. Very transparent with what he wanted to do in order to fix the issue I was having and it worked extremely well. I'm a little disappointed that I have had to move away, because if I had the choice, I don't think I would want to see any other Doctor that I have come across.

After struggling with pain for months I decided to make an appointment with Mr Jowett. After listening and examining my foot, Mr Jowett gave me few options forward and I decided to do the operation. Mr Jowett did the Right Achilles tendon debridement, excision of Hugland’s deformity and reattachment with SpeedBridge. I can’t thank Mr Jowett and the hospital team enough, everything was explained very well and the wound is perfectly healed and you can hardly see the scar and I am pain free. I can recommend Mr Jowett with great respect to anyone what a great surgeon.

Mr Jowett gave exceptional care from the outset. He operated on my bunion. He explained all aspects of the procedure with great care and made me feel at ease throughout the process. He gave great pre and post operation advice. The operation went smoothly I am really pleased with how quickly my foot has recovered. I feel very lucky to have been fortunate enough to have been in his care.
