Excellent care from start to finish. Mr Hoad-Redick was very open about possible treatments, outcomes and benefits. It’s not the best to be told you need a new hip at 48 years old but after 6 weeks I was walking without crutches and driving again. I’m extremely happy with the result.

I had excellent care from Mr Hoad-Reddick. he made sure I understood exactly what he was going to do in the operation.. The results are excellent and I have no pain in the knee concerned. the follow up has also been good and the hospital care was excellent.

Repaced two hips: Left in 2012May: Right in 2018Aug. Very helpful, proving very good advice and care. (Despite contrary advice from psoriasis specialists, was very cautious about operating in the presence of psoriasis)

I have been looked after by Mr Hoad-Reddick in a very caring, efficient standard right from the start. He even referred me to a Rheumatologist colleague when it was feared that I had an auto-immune disease based on my MRI as he wanted to be sure of exactly what my full issues were before proceeding to surgery. I cannot emphasise enough how happy I have been with his care and thoroughness of his approach to all matters to do with my health and the procedure and also how I felt about it all along the way. He took into account my own personal circumstances and other health worries so that my care was carried out with this in mind. Not only was I so happy with my care, but my husband who had really needed knee surgery for a decade but could not face it, has since had 2 total knee replacements carried out by Mr Hoad-Reddick in the time since my hip replacement as he had been so impressed by the care. Good care on the ward and particular great care from Liz, Mr Hoad-Reddick's personal nurse. Also his Secretary, Eve Anderson was wonderful, from my initial contacting her by phone, she arranged MRI and appointment on the same day as I lived in the Isle of Man so had to travel to UK for the appointments. Eve then arranged all other appointments from my calls and emails to fit in with my travel and accommodation arrangements near to the hospital and also checked and came back to me with any questions I had. Mr Hoad-Reddick even called me on occasions for follow-up where possible to avoid un-necessary ferry crossings/flights etc. Overall very happy with the complete care and services and could not recommend Mr Hoad-Reddick and his team more.
