Mr Bailey has given me excellent care. He made a sensible decision to operate to fix my broken arm and make it as strong as it can be, based on my active lifestyle. He explained everything well, was friendly and put me totally at ease that i was in good hands. He followed up after surgery a couple of times before i was discharged, and I feel like I then also received good attention at his fracture clinic 2 weeks later.

About 2.5 years ago I had to have a knee operation.I went through the system and found Sarum Road hospital as one of my option. My pick turned out to be the best experience (at a hospital) ever.Experienced staff paired with endless kindness. The surgery also went well.I had no pain whatsoever.Mr Bailey informed me very well before the surgery and saw me after I woke up.The nurse took good care of me and was back at home the same afternoon-again no pain at all. Unfortunately a year later my problem recurred or didn't really go away but I had to have my knee operated again. This time I went to RHC Hospital but made sure that my surgeon will be Mr Bailey again.Although the hospital isn't the same as Sarum Road Hospital the care was the almost the same level. My nurse had to take care of 5-6 patients at a time but she did an excellent job.Mr Bailey as always explained everything before the surgery and told me we are going to do a different approach this time.Again, surgery went well, no pain and went home the same day. In two months time I had my follow up appointment where we agreed on another one, which came up just yesterday June the 26 2013.I am almost a 100% only occasionally experiencing some pain from twisting or turning but I can say that Mr Bailey did everything he could to solve my knee problem.I can only recommend him as a doctor and he is a very kind person to talk with too. In comparison of the two hospitals (RHCH and Sarum Road H) if I have to choose again I would go for Sarum Rd the reasons being much faster in and out time ,free parking, and maybe-only maybe- a higher quality in care level.Having your own room after surgery with a tv , room service ;-),my partner waiting for me there is priceless. But if you have no other choice, I can only say good things about RHCH too.Although parking is a pain sometimes and I had to wait an hour to be seen-only once. But this is a much bigger hospital with many many more patients. My partner was not allowed to wait for me inside. One thing what surprised me is they let me go home without seeing Mr Bailey after the surgery or giving me any release papers. At Sarum RDH Mr Bailey himself came to see me after I woke up and informed me that everything is ok. All in all if I have to have a similar kind of surgery in the future (hope not) I will definitely go to see Mr Bailey again. Thank you Miklos (Mickey) Buszlai Alresford

Two years ago I had a hip replacement at a different hospital, but my recovery was not good. At my check up after a year the surgeon was very arrogant and told me that I would eventually be able to walk. I asked my Doctor for a second opinion and saw Mr Bailey. I was x-rayed and scanned and a detached muscle was diagnosed. In May Mr Bailey re-attached the muscle and now, 6 weeks later I am recovering well. After my follow up appointment with Mr Bailey today I am confident that I will soon be able to walk again without a crutch or a stick.
