I had a problem with my left knee as a result of intensive personal training. After some false starts with other doctors, Dr Gupta was excellent in diagnosing the problem and getting me into surgery quickly to get it sorted out. He takes strong personal interest all the way through the process including post surgery examinations and shows much empathy throughout I would strongly recommend Dr Gupta without any reservations.

Dr Gupta and his team has been awesome with the treatment of my torn meniscus and very transparent with setting my expectations. Unknown to me, I had torn this muscle a year ago, maybe longer, but Dr Gupte's expertise was able to successfully reattach it, which was the best case scenario. He has personally made sure to see that I am fully recovered after the surgery through multiple check up appointments. I would highly recommend Dr Gupte. Kit

I had injured my left knee while participating in my sport which is full contact. After having an MRI scan it was highlighted that I had a completely torn ACL and torn Meniscus, after this was made apparent I was referred to Dr Gupte by my GP. Dr Gupte was very helpful with what procedure needed to be done to get me back to full health and back to competing in my sport. Dr Gupte was insightful and very professional with my situation as he made feel comfortable with the operation that I need to help me, on the day of the operation he was honest about what he would need to do to help my knee to become stable while rehabilitating it. The procedure lasted two hours and after Dr Gupte explained to me what had been repaired and what I needed to do after to ensure my recovery was successful. It has been 6 months since my knee surgery and each follow appointment has been great as Dr Gupte is always positive and provides step my step information on what rehab miles stones I have reached and what I will need to do progress further. I strongly recommend anyone who has suffered a knee injury to be referred to Dr Gupte, he is consistently professional, honest and meticulous in his approach to ensuring the best outcome for his patients.

My right leg was badly bowed and my right knee had lost all its cartilidge from a surfeit of sport over five decades. The wonderful Chinmay Gupte solved all that in an instant with a superb full knee replacement operation at the Charing Cross Hospital in Dec. 2016 and I am thrilled to say that I now have a straight right leg and a perfectly working new right knee. Without Chinmay's brilliance none of this would have been possible and I cannot recommend him highly enough. In my humble opinion, he's now the must go to knee replacement surgeon in London and I have no hesitation whatsoever on Chinmay replacing my other knee in the future. Colin I. C. My son had a complete rupture of his ACL and cartilage damage at the age of 12, due to a skiing accident on a school trip. After a couple of false starts at St Marys we were eventually put under the care of Mr Gupte. Things then progressed really quickly and efficiently, with the operation scheduled without delay. As a worried parent, I felt informed, listened to and reassured about the procedure and likely outcome, without any glossing over of possible problem areas. The operation was a success, and it has always been a pleasure to see Mr Gupte in clinic. Even though he is naturally in high demand, he is fully focussed on the patient in hand, even in our case where there is both a child and parents to communicate with, in one teeny tiny room! I think he is an exceptional doctor, and when I was in the crowded waiting room last time, I noticed that he also had a smile and acknowledgement for other patients as he passed by; I think he makes everyone feel special. To have wonderful surgical skills and a great and caring bedside manner is a very special combination.
