Mr. Gupte is a very experienced knee specialist, recently I had visited his clinic. He listened attentively to my concerns. Well explained, about my condition and steps towards treatment. I do not have room for any doubts. Clearly diagnosed my condition, after MRI scan. Hats off to his outpatient team. I can strongly recommend him if any one need advice or surgery about any knee issues to contact his team.

Mr Gupte is an excellent knee surgeon. He undertook some complex surgery to my troublesome knee which used to dislocate continuously, and I could not walk without a cane. A torn tendon was also repaired along with the removal of old scar tissue. He explained everything very clearly to me. The result for me is life changing. I cannot thank him enough.

I have been playing football and rugby my whole life and suffered an acl and meniscus tear back in mid- 2021. It wasn't till about November 2021 when I went to see Dr Gupte where I was promptly offered an operation in December- having done an MRI scan prior. Pre-op he was very clear and helpful on reassuring me with all the details on how the operation will work as I was very nervous. Everything went all well post-op and I am back playing football and rugby with my knee feeling stronger than ever. Dr Gupte has really helped me through my ACL recovery journey and I couldn't recommend anyone better!

Having done lots of high impact sports in my life and being almost 50 years old, I had a severe accident last year, falling on my left knee. It was so painful! I went to a specialist who diagnosed me incorrectly and, despite a steroid injection, my knee got worse and worse. I could not sit down or bend it any longer. Thank goodness my physiotherapist recommended Dr Gupta, who straight away did another MRI scan and discovered that there were bits of bone floating about in my knee area. He was very concise and transparent about the options, process and likely results. I had my operation in February 2023 in the Wellington Hospital, which is like a 5-star resort and made my pain easier as I was distracted by a nice room, wonderful nurses and a 5-star meal option. I thought I would limp after the operation, but Dr Gupta, who is for my viewpoint the best in his field, did such a great job that I’m able to walk normally without limping and the scar is hardly visible. I have OA in both of my knees and, if I ever need more surgery, Dr Gupta is the only one I trust. He is an expert in his field and is not too complacent to go the extra mile, to offer the best solution possible for his clients’ needs. I highly recommend Dr Gupta!

Having had a long football career at both professional and non league level my knees had been through the mill, so to speak. Having had several cartilage operations and a posterior cruciate ligament operation under Mr Hunt at the end of my football career when I needed my right knee looked at because I was in a lot of pain Mr Hunt had now retired. I was then put in the hands of Mr Chim Gupte. Mr Gupte has recently given me a full knee replacement. I would go as far to say,Mr Gupte is one of the most talented surgeons in England who not only works to an exceptional standard, he puts you as ease by explaining everything to you and putting your mind at rest as to what the operation ahead entails. I cannot speak more highly of Mr Gupte and his team at the Wellington as well as his personal assistants Alice and Zephira, they leave no stone unturned and put you at complete ease. My knee replacement has been a total success thanks to the skill and unbelievable talent of Mr Chim Gupte. Regards Gary.
