Mr. Gulihar had been offered out to me by Bupa as one of a handful of orthopaedic specialists in my area. I had chosen him as my preferred specialist and never looked back. He was extremely attentive to my acute dequervains synovitis and tennis elbow, offering numerous options for treatment. I had been suffering in my employment for the best part of 3 years trying to manage pain in conjunction with making occupational adjustments, numerous NHS referrals to physiotherapists each with their own methods, including splints but, to no avail. I had all but become exasperated by the time I had my first appointment, but his expert competence and experience, having extensively treated patients with similiar experiences, shone through. He was able to pinpoint the issue with timely precision with a postive Finkelstein Test on both wrists and offered steroid injections to help kickstart my recovery. Moreover, he works in tandem with a whole host of hand therapists that prioritize his referrals for yet more timely and expert treatment to work to full remission. As a result, I have been able to implement voice recognition software, more stringent stretches in both my corporate and personal life and have been able to largely work towards full recovery. I would recommend his services to anyone, who will surely reap the rewards of doing so!

I have recently had two thumb operations performed by Mr.Gulihar,he listened to me on our first meeting,made recommendations to me in writing,made contact with me before the operations, came to see me just before and after the operations (on the day). Made contact afterwards to see how I was getting on, and saw me again for post op. At all times he was considerate and caring. I would have no hesitation in recommending him.

I was having problems with a trigger finger which seemed to be steadily getting worse. I’m pleased to say Mr Gulihar was able to skilfully fix and separate the tendons causing the problem while talking me through the process. Fingers all working smoothly now

I've had quite a few operations in the past and Abhinav Gulihar is one of the best surgeons I've been treated by. He recently fixed a carpal tunnel problem for me and not only did the surgery go well (and I managed to get a peek at some of it) but consultations before and after surgery were excellent too. He explained things clearly and he listened to and answered any questions I had. I only have good things to say about him.

Abhinav Gulihar is definitely my first choice if ever I need surgery to my hands. A very old untreated injury to my Scaphoid needed corrective surgery. From past experience I was confident that Mr Gulihar would be the one to ask and he delivered. The repair done my hand is pretty much back to normal now allowing me to continue to do my extreme sports. I am a happy person again.
