She was very quick in completing my initial assessment; presumably because she had read my referral documents thoroughly.
Explanation of planned procedure at this assessment good and explanation of the actual procedure and findings post-op and at post-op clinic review thorough.
Risks fully explained by post-op 'dos and don'ts' not covered (apart from the guidance for the first 72-hours post-op).

Having been a patient of Miss Nunez for a number of years for Dupuytren's contracture, I cannot fault the care, advice or knowledge from Miss Nunez. After undergoing a Dermofasciectomy in August 2021, this has been a complete success, thank you Miss Nunez!!

Throughout the whole process, Valerie was very clear in her messaging and the options available to me. The level of professionalism was exceptional, expectations were clearly managed, the operation was well run and the after care and timeliness have been impeccable. I honestly cannot identify any gaps to focus on.

I have had an excellent experience with Miss Nunez who has been very professional from my initial consultation, through surgery and post op care.
During consultation my issue was quickly diagnosed and options for surgery clearly given together with the reasons for her preferred recommendation.
The Surgery went extremely well and comments from other staff mentioned that the operation was very thorough as well as being very neat and tidy.
The pre op discussion was very thorough and detailed explanation given of the procedure.
The Post Op treatment has been first rate and reassuring with Miss Nunez making contact during her holiday.
The recommendation of a physiotherapist was also very good and has enabled me to enjoy a fast recovery.
I cannot recommend Miss Nunez highly enough.

I consulted with Miss Nunez regarding my Dupuytren's contracture and she was thorough and clear in her diagnosis and recommendation for treatment. The experience of being being treated was good and the results look promising. In general I found Miss Nunez very easy and pleasant to deal with and and would thoroughly recommend her services

Miss Nuñez is a Consultant Orthopaedic Hand and Wrist Surgeon with expertise in the management of all aspects of hand and wrist disorders and injuries.
She completed her specialist surgical orthopaedic training on the South West London rotation after which she completed three sub-specialty plastic surgery Hand Fellowships @ The Hand Clinic, Windsor, St George's Hospital and The Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead.
She has published a number of papers in peer reviewed journals and presented at international meetings in Europe and abroad.
She is a keen educator and has travelled internationally to establish sub specialty training and educational courses in El Salvador and Sudan.
She was elected as Chairman of the Hand & Wrist Faculty of the AOUK Trauma society in 2014, and is an invited International member of the Hand Expert Group of the AOTK Trauma Foundation based in Switzerland since 2016.
