Sohier has listened to my problems and understood the severity of my pain and inconveniences caused with the ongoing problems I have, she got me in straight away for the appropriate tests to fully diagnose and treat my conditions. She is warm, friendly, reassuring and can be very trusted while you’re feeling low and anxious. She should not be slated on reviews for appointment hiccups which will be down to a team of people to organise on her behalf, her work and years of training should be commended and people should be very thankful for her time and knowledge. Amazing woman who has literally saved my life, I was at the point of no return and she gave me hope. She is my hero and I could not be more grateful for meeting her and being under her care. Fantastic doctor and person all round. RGOULD

Good luck of you ever get to see her. I had an NHS appointment that was changed just two weeks beforehand. Nevermind that I had booked my train ticket, taken time of work and made childcare provisions. When I did show up for my appointment I got one of her team. When I asked to be refer to another specialist, I had no response and was left to wait for months in pain not knowing if it would happen or not. Then to add insult to injury I was recently offered another appointment, no thanks! What a shambles

6 years waiting for a replacement SNS. In the 6 years I have had very little communication but in the little I have received i have been promised to be seen urgently or on an emergency basis. None of them have materialised - lost all faith in her. 6 years my life has been on hold because of her - the pain I’m experiencing is not fair!!!! I have joined a support group and many of her patients have waited 2/3 years for similar reasons. . My local consultant can back up my claim as she’s recieved several pieces of communication where she’s shown her true colours - the tone of her letters are very unprofessional and quite frankly rude.

Miss El-Neil is a consummate professional with the warmest of touches, she is funny, kind and listens very carefully to all you have to say. I would trust her completely with any issues I might have and after an operation in July 2018 have the greatest respect for her and her team.

I have had 2 surgeries performed by Dr Elneil - one in particular was quite complex. I feel extremely fortunate to have been under her care. She is an amazing - both as a surgeon and a woman. Her levels of support and compassion are immeasurable. Add to this her expertise as a surgeon and it amounts to the best there can be. I will always be eternally grateful to her for improving the quality of my life beyond my wildest expectations.
